So far so good - I love the slim design takes up less space-still learning the ins and outs of 10 but so happy I updated.

This HP is an awesome desktop for home and home business work. Does everything I need it to do and then some!

The computer was easy to set up. So far it is doing all I want. Tutorials were helpful. Was lucky and got it on sale.

I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a good home computer. It is small in stature but big on speed.

I wanted to hook up two monitors (4K and HD), but couldn't do it, so I contacted the HP support. The computer won't run 4k at 60Hz even though the GPU supports it. HDMI version is only 1.4b, which only allows 30Hz for that resolution. In this day and age, that's pretty bad. Out of the box you can only connect VGA as your second monitor. If you want more, like HD, then a pass-through USB-C to HDMI adapter won't work. The USB-C port doesn't have the support for that like other devices you might own. You will need a signal converter, but those things have their own issues. If you want to add a graphics card, there is a slot for that, but the power supply is only 180W. You won't be able to upgrade the power supply though. It's a non-standard size and the mainboard is proprietary and doesn't use the typical 20(4) pin power connection. This important information is missing on the site/specs and should be available prior to a customer purchasing this device. Some of the answers provided by HP/BB reps to similar questions on this site are totally misleading and don't reflect the truth. That's just unacceptable.

The HP-ENVY is lightweight pc that packs a punch. I use it at work and have had no issues with it.

Computer was easy to set up. It installed my older HP printer automatically. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The PC itself is great once you get it setup. The only issue I have with the computer is the CD/DVD drive. It is a side mounted slimline drive which I find to useless. The PC sets to the right of the monitor so I can not see to load anything it and you must get the center lined up with the middle of drawer. The set up is a nightmare and invasion of your privacy thanks to Microsoft who has now made themselves another privacy thief.

I selected this computer because it seemed to meet my basic needs. Great choice since it comes with Windows 10.
