Good Solid Desktop PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit leary of purchasing it, but I really liked the specs and HP has a decent record of PCs. The next step down was $50 cheaper but had less RAM, a smaller Hard Drive and a slower CPU. I figured that it was worth the $50. I bought the PC because I needed to use it to run our church's multi-media when the existing PC's motherboard died. One note: I wasn't impressed by the specs on the Video so I purchased a Video Card to install in it. Doing so was quick and easy. The PC recognized the card and worked flawlessly with it. I was impressed by the speediness of the machine. A Caveat: The description is wrong: The Mouse and Keyboard are both Wireless (AAA batteries were included).

Fast and flawless (so far)
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this on sale and the price was right. Really liked the idea of 12GB RAM and 512GB SSD drive. It is one really big tower though but is does have built in speakers which sound pretty good. Though not mentioned in specs., it does have VGA so I was able to attach my old monitor. I would recommend purchasing PC Mover to transfer files from the old computer. You will need a second monitor for the transfer so I attached a small TV with HDMI (worked great). It transferred everything, even my saved emails and Quicken. It even transferred programs that my new computer wouldn't load from discs.

Great Speed for Music Purposes
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this lastnight and it's quite impressive! Wanted to write a review specifically for the producers/audio engineers potentially interested in a tower for creating. I make hiphop instrumentals, as well as light DI recording, alongside mixing and mastering my own material, and this tower delivers on processing ability. I was able to install my DAW, about 30gb worth of sound material, and also run my DAW while listening to preset patches in my VST(s) simultaneously without issue. No massive latency problems, no freezing up in mid-playback. Was on the fence between this tower, or the one with 16gb of RAM and this is truly enough for the price. Great computer for creatives who need a sound go-to workstation at home!

Does not come with Windows 10.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Came without windows 10 installed. For some reason couldn't update to the latest version, it would just want to wipe the computer then fail the install. Had to spend over two hours doing HP's job for them.

BAD PC
Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PC on 08/22/2020 on 11/20/2020 it started rebooting itself for no reason. Brought it to Geek Squad - claimed they fixed it. Brought it home and not even 10 minutes into working it rebooted itself again. Within 30 minutes it has rebooted 4 times. I definitely wont buy this one again.
