    Not all that great...

The specs indicate a better machine than this is. Problems with the brand new hp monitor driver having to reset itself. Does not seem that speedy considering the processor and amount of ram. Integrated video card must be junk...cannot get simpler games to play at all without terrible choppy video and sound even on the lowest settings. Dvd is inconvenient to use and does not refresh itself when inserting a new disc...still shows files from the disk you removed beforehand. Very odd. You can do better than this for the money...

the CD-DVD vertical system seems to be a little flimsy; may not stand up to heavy use. The tower has 2 HDMI output connections, but nowhere to hook up a VGA Monitor. Tech Support told me I need to buy a HDMI-VGA adapter if I want to use any of my 3 older monitors. I ended up getting a new LED monitor instead!

Seems good, power supply fan clicks

I went back to BestBuy to get the power supply swapped out due to a very annoying clicking that started coming from the fan. However, Best Buy refused to do that and said I had to return the whole unit. This is after I spent hours restoring my backup to the hard drive. Really annoying. The power supply is also only 300 W, so if you plan to put anything in the slots (like a video card) you're going to need to upgrade the power supply anyway. Other than the power supply issues, I like it and it seems fast enough.

    Meh

Well. I kept coming back to the BestBuy website to compare. What really got me excited was the selling point that there were 2 hdmi ports on the back and that you could connect up to 3 monitors. I have not been able to find ANYWHERE how to do this. Otherwise it seems to be working fine. Oh, also sucks that it went on sale less than a month after I bought it for $150 less.

    Don't buy this lemon

I'd give this computer zero stars if that was an option. I unfortunately was foolish enough to try a second computer when the first one had multiple issues that 3 calls to geek squad support and a 4 day repair at the store could not fix. BOTH computers had multiple video drivers errors, the USB ports would not recognize external drives connected over night, then would not eject them. Powering off the computer took between 15 and 70 minutes -- yes -- minutes. Sometimes it would restart instead of powering down. I also recently purchased an HP Envy laptop and have had absolutely no issues with that, but this model of the desktop is a total nightmare. Purchasing a similar Dell model instead.

    Excellent PC

Just purchased this, and so far it has been quite easy to get it set up. Only problem I see so far which isn't that terrible is that it seems slow to bring up considering the memory and set up of this PC. I have all HP computers and have been happy most of the time with them. Sometimes they drive me crazy due to various problems, but I don't think it was all the PC fault, but may I just pushed the wrong button. Happy with this, other then the speed that it is operating, maybe it will improve after using it some.

    Good buy for your money

Bought a HP ENVY 750-247C with much reservation of having Windows 10 as the Operating System. It works well out of the box. I would recommend buyer to use different anti-virus programs than the free one that came along with the unit. The hardware is solid. Beware that the USB and the audio plug are not in the front panel so it would be a bit awkward. If you can afford to have a SSD installed, do so. It will speed up your PC tremendously. I would recommend this unit and this branch. Good luck.

This desktop is a great upgrade and the processing speed does not leave hanging if you are a moderate style gamer, but if you are intense I recommend upgrading the power pack and graphics card or buying a console made for gaming elites. All in all I think this is a wonderful all around fast, modestly priced computer that'll do all you ask of it.

Maybe I got a lemon, but I do not have the time to deal with it with customer service. Basically, it freezes up a lot. Everything just stalls and keyboard/mouse do nothing. Also, at least once every two hours of use the video card freezes and both my monitors go black, but recover within 30 seconds. Right now I would not recommend. It's too bad too. It's replacing my 9 year old HP that I also bought at Best Buy.

    could have been better

It is such a beautiful machine but it could have been better. The disc drive is SLOW and this is being compared to a four year old Pavilion 500-124. The internet if fast and the design is gorgeous. The wireless keyboard and mouse were dead on arrival the replacement did not work right also so that was flawed.

I would not purchase this computer again. Right out of box had to reset windows 10 because it would not recognize cd. After getting tech support from hp tried to reset windows 10 again. Recognized cd but took 2:48 to import a 2:14 song into iTunes library. No other programs installed on computer. I am taking this one back.

    Horrible Computer and Support!

I absolutely hated my experience with HP. I had an issue where my computer wouldn't boot up. The software, Windows 10, had somehow corrupted itself. We had not visited any malicious website, and had not downloaded anything except Office 365!We decided against calling Best Buy customer support since we had a horrible experience with them before, so we called Hp tech support. Hp customer support was horrible and very unprofessional to say the LEAST! I returned this Hp a few weeks after buying! I am very disappointed with Hp and their products. Since then, I have bought a Dell and am very happy with my purchase. Dell's customer support is far superior in every way! In short, I learned to never spend $900+ on a piece of garbage and to never buy from Hp again!
