I was poking along with a 4 year old desktop using 4 GB of RAM while trying to run Windows 10. The performance of this machine is lightning fast not only locally but the download speed from One Drive and the Internet in general. Got it on sale and the performance is even more thna I hoped for.

Super fast and a great replacement for our 6 year-old HP tower. Really appreciated the lower open box price. Nice to have so many ports on this one including the DVD drive. Had to look up where the DVD drive was hiding since no manual came with this since it was open box.

Please note this rating is based simply on expectations reflecting the specs and other reviews. The unit has never been used and currently is in the shop (Geek Squad) to have an existing hard drive from our old tower cloned to a new 2 TB SSD. It is almost certain to be a noticeable improvement.

Great computer for the price. With an ultrawide monitor, the productivity is amazing. The processor is great, I can have 50 tabs open in chrome and there is absolutely no lag or delay of any kind. It seems like it can go for weeks without being restarted or turned off.

This HP tower is awesome. It is super fast with the solid state drive and the Intel Core i7 chip. I recently traded a Lenovo all-in-one desktop for this Envy tower desktop. Best decision I made all year! The tower is much quieter and better. The audio is also way better. Thanks HP!

I needed a new PC because Windows 7 was running out of tech support. This machine runs Windows 10 and had all the features my wife and I need. We are still getting used to the Windows 10 format, but we both like this PC a lot. It runs very quiet, and seems to be just what we needed.

Speed you need but not for gaming. Can upgrade memory if that means anything to you.

Decided to set this up myself and I was able to do it with few problems on my part. That was mainly transitioning from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but the HP Jumpstarts was helpful. So much faster than my old computer.

I'm not a gamer or use for heavy word processing but I didn't want a super slow processing computer either. This desktop has lots of memory and processing speed for the money. I'm happy with it. I did up grade the key board and mouse that came with it though.

Easy setup. Very fast boot 20 seconds or less; with an I7 9th Gen and 16 GB RAM. My old computer which was an I7 1st Gen with 8 GB RAM, took 3 minutes and 20 seconds to boot. With a little over 3 weeks of having computer there is not too much more to day. If it had been a year and it was still purring along I would have given it a 5 Star. I do not play action games so I am unable to comment.

It's still fresh and new, but up to this point everything is running perfectly smooth. I use a LOT of RAM, between photo/video editing, and always having a billion tabs open on browsers - so far, no slow downs, no locking up... Hope this continues.

I bought this replacement computer coincidentally just before the coronavirus lock-down. It has given me absolutely no trouble while I have used it for work at least 4 days every week for the past three months. Solid state drive is the way to go - no waiting.

Installed this new desk top to replace a slower HP computer. WOW! What a difference. With the new 5G web service and this new 5G capable computer things are suddenly very fast. All web actions are instantaneous and occur as fast as lightening.

I finally decided to get rid of Windows 7 & bought this computer & haven't been sorry since. With its solid state drive it turns on & off in seconds. No longer do I have to wait & wait until it does turn off like with Windows 7. It is fast.

Purchased to replace an older Dell PC that was starting to lag. This PC was great right out of the box as the 16GB of RAM and i7 processor were just what the doctor ordered to speed up our sales manager's computing power. No complaints thus far.

I purchased this computer for my small business. It was really easy to set up. So far it has been working excellent. It is quick and has great capability and storage capacity for a small business or home. I would definitely recommend it.

The computer turns on and off quickly and easily. It has the power to handle large programs like Dragon voice recognition software and Norton antivirus software, and does not slow the computer down while doing so. I'm very happy with it so far

Worked perfectly out of the box - good add on McAfee package that has also been trouble and nag free. Very response computer with nice quiet operation. Also should note that the touchless delivery at my local Best Buy Store was very well done.

I love this computer and it's so freaking fast!! I had an older computer that I wanted to upgrade to something not just for now but for the future. This computer is all of that and a bag of chips! The only drawback is the loss of the DVD Maker from Windows.
