HP Envy Works Great, But Can't Update SSD or HDD

New HP Envy w/HP monitor

I needed it right away so did not have a choice. Other than that I am happy with my purchase so far.

2 recent PC failures for this model

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the PC in March 2020, however in the first week I noticed 2 times when I returned to it first thing in the morning the PC had apparently turned off during the night and pressing the power button had no effect. I was able to start it again only by removing the power cord for at least an hour. This became more frequent in week 2 so I returned it. I was hoping I just had a lemon, so I actually purchased the same model again this July, but the next day after setup, the same thing happened - it turned off overnight and then I was unable to turn on the machine in the morning without removing the power cord and reconnecting after 2 hours. It was returned after 3 days! In all my years of buying PCs this has NEVER happened to me, and after 2 model failures, I'm done. I guess it looks like another brand for me . . .

Fair PC but needs work on audio/headphones

Issue I have is that HP needs to work on their audio/headphone hardware and drivers. Out of the box I had issues. The Line in and Mic in ports in the back don't work and I am still having issues with a slight noise when trying to use the combo port on the front for record. Audio is clean and verified by a different PC. This PC has issues and I am still having to work with HP to resolve.
