Not as fast as I expected.

But the speed is not that much better than my old tower. I have high speed internet.

IFf the configuration as-is is what ypu need, then it's a nice little machine if not a little pricey...

Like i said so much better in the old days

returned twice so far

I moved the original stick to the second slot and same problem so it was bad memory slot. I returned to HP for repair and when they sent it back, the second memory slot did work but then the computer started freezing after about an hour and even after removing the new memory it froze and after a reboot pixelated my monitor (which works fine for my other computers). So a second return for me. HP is good about the return process but I've never had to return a machine twice for the same thing, which makes me question buying a budget computer. I'm regretting not spending more for a higher quality machine as time is money and the downtime with this machine has already cost me more in lost billable hours than just getting a better computer in the first place. So HP may still come through on a fix but I can't say I'd recommend this computer.

Not upgrade able

And change older computer and set up printer in second room. Start Outlook. All the Geek did was was essentially turn on the computer, and download the info from one computer to the other. Left me like that after waiting for 30 days for the install. I purchased computer in February. March 30 was date for install. Today it is April 13 , and still not set up. No printer, no appt. for set up still, no refund for Microsoft that had an error . Sickening. Left hanging like this when I need a computer. I should have had somebody sent to my house to complete this job. I have been an excellent customer for years. Now during the CoronaVirus I am stuck. Cant print, cant send things, cant get help. So frustrating.

Don't buy, you will regret

I buy desktops for best performance, longevity and security in knowing they are usually failsafe options for my documents. This unit has crashed several times in the warranty period. Blue screen, black screen, etc. I get tech support, they fix it temporarily, then I am back on with them. It runs out of warranty soon and they just keep this endless cycle of day-by-day fixes going. It has lost several days of files and recent document changes. Don't buy if you value your files.

Very slow and freezes a lot

Not playing any high graphics games or doing anything to strain the computer. I have better performance from my work laptop which is at least 5 years old.

I have constant hang up problems

I have faced exceedingly long waits with the Geek Squad and a tuneup was performed that did not resolve the problem.

Defective design
