Disappointed in HP. Purchased this to replace an older Canon that still printed well but was slow to begin print jobs. This HP is much faster to respond, but print quality is poor. Blocky/wavy lines, missing print blocks, ink which smudges after it is dry (using HP "premium" paper). Run several print head clean and alignment cycles, no improvement. Printer also emits a constant, high pitched electronic "whine/tone." Contacted HP support and they said the noise is "normal" and insisted I must be using non-HP catridges. The printer is only a few months old and using the original HP cartridges. At one point HP support said the printer showed empty cartridges on their end. Looked at the display on my end and the printer cartridge levels were no longer reading. This printer is an expensive paperweight for me at this point. HP will not warranty anything - supported suggested I remove cartridges and manually clean the cartridges and print heads in the machine with distilled water. This printer is 2 months old, can't imagine the problems I would have after 6 months. HP won't warranty. So, buyer beware and lesson learned for us - no more HP products in our house.

This is a great printer and works very well. I highly recommend it.

I like everything about this printer.I especially like the touch screen that allows me to copy and scan without having to use a computer also the set-up was quite simple.

We are replacing an old and cantankerous printer. This one responds immediately to the print stroke and only prints items one time as opposed to the old one that would continue spitting out previously printed items later in the day. Plus this printer was actually in the store, and we went home with it! Big plus!

This is the best printer that HP came out with. It connects to your wifi without much effort. The software is quite easy to install. The printer is very easy to setup as well.

I've only had this printer a month, but so far I'm happy. It starts up quick. Print quality is good. I love that it is wireless. I'm new to the Instant Ink program so I will see how that goes.

My old hp printer that had 8 years behind it gave up its life to a weird error code. So i decided to upgrade to this and i gotta say i like the imporvement. Love the fact i can make my own photos from home now.

Excellent printer. Beautiful photos. Replaced an older HP printer. The only minor complaint is that the scan software was better on the older model. Overall, I am happy.

Two 8 year old printers of another brand stopped working on the same day during printing of a time sensitive project. HP Envy was delivered quickly, easy to get set up, and no worry of running out of ink. Perfect solution and project completed in time.
