When the computer is shut down, the printer remains ON, unlike my old (former) printer that automatically turns off, when the computer is switched off.

Purchased this to replace my 7155, which was about 3 to 4 years old and died in its tracks. The 7255 has a cheaply made casing and noisier. They tout it is environment friendly because of recycled plastic. Ok, just sounds like it cost them less to make an inferior product.

Great printer for my Mac Book Air M2 chip. Very compatible and easy to install. Great Printer for the money.

PRINTS WONDERFULLY CANNOT CONNECT TO LAPTOP AS TIME KEEPS RUNNING OUT.

So many features, i havent used them all yet, but it does the job AWESOME PICTURE Quality if you use the right paper.

I needed to get a smaller printer than I had and questioned whether this would work for me. It is great with no problems

This is only an ok printer. It doesn't do anything particularly well, but I gave it two stars for what it does at it's price point - duplex printing, scan and copy. No ethernet option exists - USB or wireless only. And don't expect it to work with dual band wi-fi - it will disconnect frequently and not rejoin (until a reboot) if your wireless AP uses both 2.4 and 5.1 GHz. Even using a dedicated AP/SSID at 2.4, it still experiences random disconnects, though less frequently; sometimes in the middle of a print job. HP Support is clueless on this topic and I actually returned this to the store for another one because they told me it was defective. (BestBuy was great about it, as usual). Turns out it wasn't defective, it's wi-fi is just awful. I got about 100 pages on the supplied ink cartridges before they were empty (as in bad print, unusable). So have some ready. I'm not sure why other reviewers say this is expected, nor why this is acceptable.

If I could, I'd give it a negative ten. Purchased May 25, 2025 and today is August 17, 2025. . . .about three months. In those months I've probably printed less than a dozen times. Now the printing quality is unreadable. I've "cleaned smear, aligned and cleaned cartridges twice over but printing remains awful. Tried contacting HP for warranty support. Total nightmare. I'm extremely frustrated! Printer isn't worth one cent.
