    I told myself I would NEVER purchase another HP after my old 6978 died, as the replacement was junk. They're just poor printer systems. There are no simple drivers on the website, that allow a full-package install, for customizing printing and scanning preferences. Just the idiot SmartScan app which is plain junk. You many scan only 1 page at a time, instead of the entire file. Which is beyond time consuming and irritating. I returned.

    I was told it would do two sided scanning, and it will, with some intervention. A bit disappointing, but output is excellent, both color & b/w, Very good value for the investment - really like the bluetooth, my wife can print to this from her network too! Thanks!
