Initially, we were able to use the printer but the next time neither my Chromebook or my phone could find the signal so,basically, it is working as a glorified copy machine.

When I pulled the paper drawer out it felt as if it was going to skip out of the guides. Ease of set-up depends on the computer. Despite what HP claims, Smartprint does not work on every system. It does not work on mine (HP Windows 11 laptop). I spent a couple of hours with an HP tech. Neither of us could get the printer to connect wirelessly. I took it back the next day

Once using a Best Buy warranty, then through HP+. The first RMA was due to the scanner dying on me. The second RMA was due to banding issues on printouts. I tried multiple Instant Ink cartridges and that didn't resolve the issue. Unfortunately HP isn't producing quality consumer printers like it once did. I hear complaints frequently about the quality of consumer printers, particularly when it comes to the Instant Ink, cartridge razor shaving model. In retrospect I should have spent a little extra and bought a Brother laserjet. I'll likely do this if the RMA (still waiting for it) comes back and breaks. The only plus side to this adventure is that the support through HP and Best Buy was solid. Now if I could get that quality into a functional consumer printer.

I print a high volume of pages because of school and I find myself having a hard time trying to keep ink stocked even with the promotion of ink offered. When I followed the prompts to request for more ink, they sent a email stating that I should receive shipping confirmation on my order with 4-5 days, it’s been over 7 and I have yet to receive a confirmation.

Open the cartridge access door. clear any paper jam or obstruction . . . " (The carriage moves fine, and there has been no paper in the tray yet.) "The indicated cartridges are not communicating . . ." (Well, they came with the printer, so . . .)
