Never got it to work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a dud. This was my worst printer experience ever and I have had some bad printers. Spent hours trying to get it to work and no go. HP says I have to return it so I hope best buy doesn't give me a hard time. What an incredible waste of my time buying this printer.

Some Good, Some Bad
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced an older HP model that finally broke with this model. I think some features regressed. The touch screen is more difficult to navigate, and I cannot scan to a thumb drive. Otherwise it is acceptable. I signed up for the ink program which extended my warranty and is saving me on ink costs.

Just ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Average printer. Does what I need and color is nice. Seems to blow through ink though. Can also be quite picky about the paper setting for example thicker paper vs regular print paper.0

This printer sucks!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer because my last printer was an envy printer. This printer throws so many errors you cant even use it. The printer says the photo tray is not in correctly every time the printer resets or loses power. But nothing is wrong with the photo tray and it also will say paper jam when theres no paper even in it. Overall, would never recommend.

Incredibly frustrating for a home printer.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's unbelievable how HP has managed to mess up printing so much. Unless you're printing once a week, it takes an hour of troubleshooting to get the printer back recognized on the network. If you take the printer off the subscription service, it takes an immense amount of work to get all the features working again. I needed to do hours of research to get scanning back. Also it loves randomly shredding paper. Owned two HP printers before this and never had that issue. This unfortunately is my last HP printer and likely last HP product.

Defective item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer would not set up. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to set it up, got the blue screen/flashing lights so then had to (without a car) take it back. I returned it to the store and they sent me a new one, which set up with no problem. My complaint is with the first printer that was sent to me, the defective one, which was packed directly into the outer box. By contrast, the replacement was packed in a white HP box that was then packed inside the outer box. So it would appear that the defective printer I was sent had previously been opened, repackaged and then sent out. This is not a standard of service that I would expect from Best Buy.
