It stopped printing legibly in August of 2023. Best Buy replaced it with another of the same model and it stopped printing legibly in January 2024.

It MUST be connected to the internet to work. The software that must be used to connect it to the internet does not recognize the printer and so the printer cannot be configured. Completely unusable. Returning!

Worst printer Ever - don't buy

Worked for the first two weeks and stopped working. We are in school and cannot print anything. Meanwhile, we are two weeks past the return period. This is a total waste of money and so frustrating.

Next, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. If you’ve gone through only the cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.

Only Prints from phones

HP says its a problem with the Windows 10 print spooler. Don't buy if you need to print from a laptop.

They do not want to print, making them rather worthless! These models need to be recalled! The 7855 Envy (previous model) didn't have any of these problems.

Expensive INK

Replacement printer would not print due to connection issues, We must now wait 2 weeks for Geek Squad to come and make it work. Not a happy camper!

My last HP

Cheap, complicated set up instructions. The ink cartridges are so tiny that this machine will cost our business a fortune. I will be buying a different machine and tossing this one.
