Still learning. Many advantages. The ink program is great if I know I'm going to need extra printin, I can up my plan and lower after.

It is a okey printer for school, I was mainly looking for something affordable and fast. I just don't like that it does not do double sided

Our printer stopped working shortly after the 1 year manufacturer warranty was up. When it DID print, it was beautiful. We never printed a photo because we couldn't figure out how. It doesn't come with instructions and it's impossible to reach HP. There will be no more HP products in this household EVER.

I had an older version of this same printer & when it stopped printing, the Geek Squad to me I needed a new printer & that Best Buy still had this printer in inventory.

I absolutely hate this printer. It is not user friendly, disconnects often and only prints half the things I send to it to print. I have had this printer for 2 years and would never recommend it.

I had an old HP printer which I loved but I had to connect to device with a cord which made it inconvenient. This printer is able to connect with WiFi so I don’t have that issue!

I appreciate the self contained paper tray so that the tray doesn't stick out in front of the printer. Wish it help more paper though

Took alittle to get it connected but after thats its a great printer. Apparantly there are no more photosmart printers with 3 seperate color ink cartridges so this printer in the next best thing.

PURCHASED PRINTER TO REPLACE OTHER HP PRINTER I HAD FOR MORE THAN SIX YEARS, BUT I FEEL IT WAS MORE DIFFICULT TO SET UP AND IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE OLD ONE.

Purchased an HP printer a year ago that stopped working after 2-3 uses, so I was hesitant to replace it with another HP. However I needed a printer and unfortunately this printer was one of only 2 total printers Best Buy had in stock (due to Corona blah blah blah). I should have ordered a different manufacturer online and waited. Purchased this unit with warranty and extra ink. Lasted less than a month. Went to use printer and a 12345 error message popped up saying there was a paper jam. Went through all HP troubleshooting, there was no paper jam. Luckily I had the protection plan or I would have been out 180 dollars because I was past the 15 day return policy. This brings up another complaint, the protection plan. Spent 40 dollars on a protection plan that doesn't transfer to a new printer if you exchange it, according to the rep it only transfers if you have unit repaired. The problem of course is that Best Buy repairs no products except TVs and Computers. So the warranty is a gamble. You hope the product lasts long enough to make the warranty worth the purchase. However if the piece of junk you bought craps out 4 days after the return policy ends then you get your money back for product but not the warranty. I paid 40 dollars plus cost of the extra ink I bought to rent a piece of junk for a few weeks, THATS THE GEEK SQUAD PROTECTION. I have gotten the protection twice in just over a year and both times the products didn't last long enough to make purchase price of protection worth the cost. However it is still better than being screwed when the product is past the return date.

Setting up the software was a little troublesome, however once it was installed the printer and scanning functions have worked flawlessly. Printing from mobile devices is a huge plus.

I just started using the printer and so it's not met its full potential. Best Buy should allow more time to pass before they expect you to rate a product.

Copies are clear and concise; photos are clear and great quality. easy to use ; ink prices are not crazy high and everything especially print from your phone works well.

Good printer for what we need to print. Just needed something simple with ink cartridges that don’t cost more than the printer. Very satisfied

Its a good printer but will eventually stop working like it should just like the previous 3. Only reason we buy this is for the $15 a month printing service from HP

Easy setup, Air Print ROCKS, the HP app works really well. WiFi printing is great because you don’t need to have the printer sitting right next to you on your desk anymore!

SUPER unimpressed with this product. It constantly looses connection both wirelessly and wired. During the few times we can get it to connect keeps printing jobs in que 8/10 times. When it does print the images are pretty nice, though every other print (again when it connects and prints) it tells me I can’t use the product until I sign up for instant ink even though I already have the instant ink subscription and fails about half the time again. The best part about this barely frustrating printing ritual I have to go through every time I try to print something, which isn’t all that often, it uses an unbelievable amount of ink even on the lowest settings. I would think that an HP printer wouldn’t have this much trouble communicating with an HP computer. It however looks great on the shelf, though I’ll go with another brand next time.

Pretty good printer, but the color of photos printed isn’t quite right. I like being able to print from my cell phone.

This printer is difficult to keep connected to my wife's laptop (Windows 10). It will not communicate unless she reboots the computer before attempting to print.

i like the printer for what we use it for the scanner works and I can print pictures from my phone, I just need to adjust the color a little better, turns out a little dark
