Not really satisfied with this printer. I have had several problems where I couldn't print or I could not use the email service. I called HP and they tried to help. I called Geek Squad and they came and solved the problem

I bought this printer to print photos of my family. It prints perfect images.

I like the wireless function. Print quality is not as sharp as my previous HP printer and ink cartridges did not need to be replaced at the same time. I don’t like that you have to replace both ink cartridges when only one of them is low.

I recently bought myself a new laptop. Surprisingly enough, I bought an HP despite only having owned Dells and a Samsung. I am very happy with it, but it only has 1 USB port. So I made a decision to purchase all Bluetooth-enabled peripherals. I started with a Bluetooth mouse. The next was to purchase a printer. I have always owned HP printers. It seemed even more logical to purchase an HP printer that would easily connect with my HP laptop. The HP Envy photo printer 7155 is one of the Envy 7100 series. The main functions of this HP color inkjet photo printer are copy, scan, and wireless printing. The wireless connectivity is WiFi and Bluetooth Smart. Opening up the box, the printer comes with a cord, User manual, Quick Setup directions, setup color and B&W cartridges, and 4x6 glossy photo paper. **Important to note: there is NO USB cable. Information is enclosed about the Instant ink plan 5-month trial that delivers ink for a low monthly price. Replacement cartridges are 64(XL). **Consumer Reports recently reviewed printers (September 2017, vol 82, issue #9). The articles states that though inkjet printers themselves may be a great price when you purchase them, the cost of the printer soars over time (3 and 5 years) due to the cost of replacement ink. The HP Envy 7640 was illustrated as an example. This printer set up easily and quickly. As part of the process, I used the HP Smart app I downloaded from 123.hp.com onto my desktop and created an account with HP Smart. (Minimum system requirements – Windows 10, 8.1, 8 and 7, Vista 32-bit, Windows XP SP3 (32-bit), macOS 10.12 Sierra, X v10.11 El Capitan 10.10 Yosemite.) For those who want to print photos from social media, copy or scan to go from their smartphone, the HP Smart app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. Besides the Bluetooth capability and the connect-ability with the app, the strengths of this printer include the ability to share the printer with multiple devices on the network, a color touchscreen for commands and directions, and a front SD card slot. I found it incredibly easy to scan photos, edit them (crop, rotate) and save them without all the cables and many complicated steps.
