After receiving some help from HP tech to set up , seemed to work well for awhile. After a few months of use, prompt told me to load paper tray every time I used it. I will have to call tech for help with this.

This printer is a replacent printer. There are some things I like out it, like the ink is cheaper than for my Okidata. The thing I dislike is the scanner.

Bought this printer last 12/72018 and the printing was fine until lately when i notice that the quality of print (black or color) is not very clear like a page smear. I tried to perform cartridge, page smear, alignment process and it made it worst. When i print it's just a smear of black ink or completely blank. What do you expect on a $90 printer ink jet.. poor quality and now my plan expired 1/6/2021 great! i might have to pay an arm and a leg. Better to pay more for a quality printer. that's all.

I like the quality of the printing, but the printer keeps going offline unexpectedly and for no reason that I can discern (5 times so far). I have called for technical support several times. The best advice I have received is to turn off/unplug for a few minutes. Eventually this has worked but it is ridiculous that this keeps happening.

Order printer,did not work. Lot of gear noises and will not load the ink. Exchanged with new one, this one works but I do not like all the noisy track movement

Its a food printer nit the only thing I don't like is when you're printing something you have to manually pull out the tray so you paper doesn't fall on the floor.

Idk this printer is good but now it doesn’t want to print anymore. I have an old one and it worked good for four years and this one is new idk why it sucks even more.

Gives you what you want from a printer but comes with many unecessary steps, apps, sign ups, ect

I like the printer but wish I had not set up for the paper amount to be used per month. Not a good choice. You shouldn't have to pay for something in your own home that you bought. Hard time setting it up.

The machine is easy and convenient to use. But, I find it somewhat too slow and too noisy when printing. In addition, the paper tray is a bit too small. Nevertheless, it is worthy of the price.

Although this printer is billed as an "Envy Photo" printer, its ink colours are no different from those of its Office Jet Pro line. You don't even get individual cartridges, but only one for black and one for both cyan, yellow, and magenta. If youi run out of one colour, you have to replace the entire cartridge. Prints look like those you find in your Sunday ad supplements. HP needs to return to individual coloured cartridges and add a grey scale colour, Definitely I won't buy this model of printer again.

It prints well when it works. Most of the time it will never connect over WiFi, which makes it useless. Mac, Windows, etc, it sucks on all. Current software and firmware. Really bad product...can’t say it enough, and I work with computers and software daily.

I am still trying to get the wireless function working. Prints OK - I’m tired of the manufacturers putting all discovery on the consumer... a mini manuel would have really helped.

I miss the good old days when you didn't have to download a terrible app for your new printer, but even if you try to bypass the app, it still continues to show up.

this printer decided to stop working after 1 year. this is the second HP printer for me in 2 years. for this price, I was expected they work much longer.

Had trouble with the scan feature. No paper feeder which makes it difficult to scan or copy more than one page at a time. Ink included with printer ran out in a few weeks.

Does a nice job for the price. It will not scan documents to my computer as my computer is not WiFi enabled. Even when using the cord it will not scan documents.

Started ok and later started leaving streaks on my photos. I did maintenance through settings a few times and it actually got worse. Returned it.

Not so enthusiastic about this printer because the ink is sending me to the poor house!

Too large to fit in desk slot. Returned. Did not work out for me. Unfortunate as HP Envy printers are good although the one replaced was short lived.
