Usually like hp printers however this one not.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is terrible to set up. Took way to much going back and forth and finally had to use print doc. Then they recommend instant ink but it is required by printer. Still tells me it cannot scan without online set up everytime I do a scan. Pretty unreliable for hp.

Posted .Hi there.
Thanks for the review and the feedback. I’m glad you like your printer’s print quality, but I’m sorry to learn that it has performed inconsistently. I can’t tell from your review precisely what issues you’ve encountered or why it hasn’t worked reliably, but I’ll nonetheless direct you to some resources that I hope will help you improve things.
First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity and printer-offline difficulties, which I suspect might be contributing to what you describe. Otherwise, on the same page you’ll find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning difficulties. You can find that page here:
- support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics
If the inconsistent performance persists, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents can be longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Why?!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely hate this printer. I would not purchase this brand again nor would I recommend this to anyone. You literally have to log in to the printer for every print job. This is absolutely redicilous and I plan on throwing in the trash. I would not even sell it to someone else.

Save Your Money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use many HP printers. If you don’t use 7155 printer for a week or two the cartridge drys out. The ink does not last long at all. Purchase different model and you will be happier.

Not buyer friendly
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It comes with no owner’s manual, has no option of a dvd for program installation and has no phone number to call for product questions. I am elderly and feel the company doesn’t make an effort to accommodate buyers who are not as tech savvy. I returned it and won’t be buying any more of their products.

Doesn’t keep ink stored.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We hardly use this printer and when we need to the ink print head doesn’t print full ink. Prints as if it is low in ink but all ink indicates 3/4 full. Bought new ink and maybe printed 10 pages before doing the same thing again. Very poor quality printer

Piece of trash
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this in July, it is October and it's toast! It no longer prints, even simple docs. This printer did not see heavy wear at all! Did not print any pictures. I haven't even replaced the ink cartridges yet and they are half full.

I hate this printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the worst printer I have ever purchased. It gives you error messages practically every time you print. Then you have to reload either paper or adjust cartridge. And then end your print job and start over. I am thinking of returning.

Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We could not get this to work for more than a few minutes. It kept giving an error message. We spent hours (literally) with HP trying to resolve the issue. They finally recommended that we return it. Very disappointing, especially since we purchased extra ink cartridges for the printer.

Never Worked
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device was connected to the network a couple weeks after purchase. The color will not print, and the unit will not stay connected. Unable to return. I have only bought HP printers for the past 10+ years. This is probably the last HP I buy.

It Broke
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer broke 2 months after purchase. I did not purchase the extended protection from Best Buy, but since it was still covered by the hp warranty, I received a replacement from them. We'll see how long this one lasts. The print quality was fine.
