I absolutely hate this printer. I won't do anything I want it to do. And it was sold to me with hardly any ink in it! And there's sticky stuff from the sticker that was on top that won't come off.

      Hi there.

I'm sorry to hear that your printer stopped printing color and then black ink. It’s easy to see why that would be a tremendous aggravation, especially after having it only two months, so I’ll point you toward some resources and offer some information I hope will help.

First, I recommend following the steps listed in this guide to improving print quality, including color or black ink – or both – not printing properly or at all:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05541385

If the problem persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

HP Envy Photo 7155. I print black and white documents a lot and this printer does a pretty good job printing clear text and prints it quickly. I had some trouble with photo printing where it cuts off parts of the image but the print quality was pretty good. It was just like the prints from Walmart. That's pretty good right? I like the duplex printing capability but it does not have duplex scanning, no document feeder. This can also print from smart devices using Apple's Airprint or HP's ePrint. ePrint lets you email a document or photo directly to your printer. Convenient when you're away and you need to print. Just remember that the pages will on the floor when you get home because you forgot to extend the paper catcher. I used AirPrint and it just works. You can also use HP's HP Smart app that is available for both iOS and Android devices. Didn't care too much for the touchscreen because it is not very responsive. Pros: - Solidly built. No cheap plastics here. - Only 2 ink cartridges to deal with. - Prints from smartphones and tablets Cons: - Slow start-up. It takes about a minute until all mechanical noises stop and wifi status is ready. It does have a stand-by mode. - I was not able to print a picture on the 5x7 photo paper that came with it without parts of the image being cut off (using Apple devices). Colors was a bit off too. - If the paper catcher is not extended, all the printed pages ends up on the floor. - Size matters I guess. It has a big footprint, takes up a lot of space on the desk. - No document feeder - It's referred to as an All-In-One but it does not have faxing capabilities. Who still faxes anyways? - Touchscreen not so touchy, more like punchy Overall, I am pretty pleased with this printer. This is the newest printer in the 7100 series and I am sure there will be some future firmware and software updates that will make this printer better.
