Might as well not include ink
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Supplied ink cartridge lasted 6 pages before running out. I'm not through 1 print job and I have to go buy more ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from HP Team
Posted .Hi, Ralph.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer ran out of ink so quickly. I can certainly see why that would be a dubious start to owning a new printer, so I’ll try to offer some helpful suggestions.
First, I can’t say what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less yet than ones in our Instant Ink program. Still, six pages does seem like an incredibly small number. A third possibility is the printer is not reading the cartridges correctly and is giving an inaccurate reading.
Regardless, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. I’m sorry to hear that your printer has caused you such inconvenience and trouble. It’s no surprise that you’re so put off, considering the printer had given you errors for two months and now has leaked so much ink. Bad printer/ scanner
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Waste of money. Print 10 pages and you need more ink. Literally do not use the print function bc of this

Posted .Hey Jeremy,
I'm so sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the printer's ink consumption. We're certainly committed to providing a much more economical experience with our printers, so I can imagine how disappointing this is. With that said, I'd like to see how I can help with some improvements.
First, I have a few suggestions for lowering overall ink consumption. To start, I recommend using the printer's draft mode, as this can often improve ink usage. Following that, you could also set the printer to print black and white only. If you still find you're using quite a bit, Instant Ink is another option to consider. Many customers like our available plans, as they're based on how many pages you print monthly. If your printer usage is minimal, Instant Ink also offers a subscription plan that allows you to print 15 pages a month for free. For more details, you can visit this link: HPinstantink.com
If you have any other questions about this, please remember you can reach out to us for support anytime. We're always happy to help. You can contact us directly via your preferred method at this link: hp.com/contactHP

Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer ran out of ink so quickly. I can certainly understand why needing new cartridges after only 10 pages would be quite a shock. I want to help you remedy this situation, so I’ll offer some clarifying information and resources I hope will accomplish that goal.
First, regarding the ink supply, I can’t say for certain what happened in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less yet than ones in our Instant Ink program. XL cartridges for your printer have page-yield estimates of 415 pages for color and 600 pages for black and white. Another possibility is the printer is not reading the cartridges correctly and is giving an inaccurate reading.
Regardless, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal.
