Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has begun rendering prints of substandard quality. I can certainly understand why that would be a tremendous disappointment after having the printer only two months. I would love to help you remedy this problem, so I’ll offer some suggestions I hope will help you improve the printer’s performance.
First, I recommend following the steps listed in a guide you’ll find on our support site to improving print quality, including blurred or fuzzy text, faded or streaked prints, and color or black ink not printing properly or at all:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05541385
If the problem persists, I hope you’ll contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Relatively painless setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Certain aspects of inkjet printers are consistent enough from product to product to facilitate a review - setup routine, print speed, form factor. In these respects this HP printer is better than many I've used over the years. I skipped the manual's setup procedure on the computer by not doing it through the HP software but rather through the printer's on-screen steps, which was very simple - the same as setting up any wireless device on my network. The printer detected the network right off, with the router in another room, even. The print speed seems the same as my older Canon MX inkjet, so no gain or loss there. The form factor is very much nicer than any I've used - it seems hefty, but is smaller than the Canon MX it is replacing. The internal design (ink bays and paper trays) seemed intuitive. I didn't have any trouble getting around in the paper trays, though they seem hidden at first. Installing the ink was straightforward. Two things that would really make this printer different is the life of the ink - it will take time and use to determine that - and functionality other than desktop use. Right away remote printing through email is functional, and I get a decent print of a photo on my Android phone using the HP app for that. With the app I also get printer monitoring capability. Since I use my phone more and more for device controls (streaming media devices and tv/audio control), this fits in well enough with my needs. So far, I like this printer (no frustration with it yet).but that is without the added layer of complications of proprietary printer software on my Windows computer. All my programs (Word, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc) print just fine natively and I don't need proprietary printer software gumming up the works and NAPS2 is a good, lightweight, open source scanning utility.

Great Wireless Expierence
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I am very impressed with this printer. It is jam packed with features. It offers your standard print functions including very good photo printing.the scanner works very well and does a great job copying. Overall, the standard printer functions work very well. The touchscreen menu on the printer is very responsive and is fairly intuitive compared to many other printers I've used. The wireless and mobile printing functions are were this printer really shines. Instead of having to do mobile printing through an app, after you go through the process of installing the printer on the phone, it works with the native print functions and is just as easy as using a printer that's plugged into a computer. I have never seen a printer that is this easy to use from a mobile phone. This feature alone would make me recommend this to someone. Especially if you primarily use mobile devices. I don't think you could go wrong with this printer. The pictures look great, the setup is straight forward, and the WiFi and mobile options are second to none. If you're looking for a full featured photo printer. This is the way to go.

SMOOTH SAILING!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience was wonderful! Everything went very smoothly! I returned my faulty printer, got a refund card , went to pick out an upgraded printer, and scheduled a setup for the next day. I have Tinnitus so they spoke loud and slow to me. Their patience with me was very appreciated.

Tedious to Setup, Prints Well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer was a little tedious to setup on my MacBook Pro (was connected via USB cable). You have to download an app to setup the printer which is a pain if you just want to plug into a computer and go. I had to try twice to get it to install correctly taking about 45 minutes total to get up and running. I shouldn't have to download an app to my phone to install a printer to my computer. Once the printer was setup correctly, it printed just fine. Regular prints turn out nicely as do photos. One thing that I found ridiculous from HP is that you only get "starter" ink cartridges. Meaning you will quickly run out of ink and have to purchase expensive replacement cartridges. Very poor of HP to not give you full, regular cartridges to start off with.

Great personal printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been using a 10 year old printer before it finally started failing, poor quality, constantly needed refilling, etc. Upgraded to this HP 7155, and LOVE IT. Wireless connection (including printing from iphone/ipad), photos and documents both come out clean. It's sleek, much easier on the eyes than my old printer, and I haven't had to reload the ink yet after several months of light use. One caveat: this is for photo printing and light documents, if you need a "pro" level printer for printing large jobs or a lot of fancy printer settings, this isn't for you. But for those looking for a reliable easy to use personal printer for the home, it's excellent.

Nevermind negative reviews
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great printer! The negative reviews of printer being noisy and shakes are bogus. Most if not all inkjet printers make a little noise and shake from the movement of the cartridges going back and forth. Bought this model to replace a 5700 series officejet. This model is a lot quiter and operates more smoothly. The setup directions are very vague in the manual but if you just go to the web site it becomes more clear and easier! The touch screen is a little bit of a pain as it says in one review i read saying you have to push harder than you should for it to register. When printing photos make sure you put the paper in the right way or it will come out discolored and blotchy! You have to manually pull out the paper catcher or it will fall on the floor! My 5700 series automatically kicked the catcher out when it started printing! Overall happy with this printer.
