It’s “always on” with wireless connections from anywhere. We don’t print that often but when you need a print, it’s up and running. Our old printer had a scanner with multiple page scan. I kind of miss that, but it doesn’t happen that often. The only other thing is that the old printer could send to your email. Those things aside, we are certainly happy with the purchase

Hubby wanted a wireless one this time and did you know that if you re-cycle your old one, you get 15% off your new purchase? we didn't either. tee hee. so, we purchased our brand new printer, and then returned the next day with our old one. as of right now, we both like it--it works not only off his phone, but also off an i-pad. modern technology is wonderful.
