My new HP Envy Photo 7855 is so wonderful. It is such a powerful printer. I love the size, so compact and fits easily into my space. Print quality is excellent, easy 2-sided printing, and rather quiet. Really love it!

Easy to use. Very kid friendly. My three young kids are able to use it for school work. I can also print decent quality pictures. I like that it's small in size and not bulky.

Let me just tell you this printer is worth every penny spent. At first I had a problem with printing the pictures, they kept coming out blurry and smudgy looking; (user error) I read the reviews and read how people were having the same issue so I contacted support all to find out I put the photo paper in wrong (Palm to head) at least I'm not the only one! All in all this is a nice printer. I can easily send attachments from an email to it and print as much as I want with no problems. I also enjoy the compartment where I can insert the SD card or a usb and print from those as well. Again I highly recommend this all in one printer.

This printer has 2 ink cartridges, black and tricolor. I was skeptical that it would print as well as my previous printer that had 5 cartridges. It does print as well. I am pleased with the print quality and speed. I had no problems setting up the printer and their app works. I did join HP's replacement ink program. No more running to the store to buy expensive ink. So far the program is working well. This printer replaces a HP printer that I had for 10 years. Hope this one last as long.

I purchased this printer for use while working from home. I really needed a printer with good scan capability. Setup was easy. Print quality is good. Scan worked well initially. After about 3 weeks, the document feeder stopped working. Now that the store has reopened, I plan to return. Hopefully it is a simple fix as I have recently purchased more ink cartridges. The scan works but you have to scan 1 page at a time. I need to scan multiple pages which is why I needed this model with a document feeder. I love HP printers. This is the first time I've had an issue.

Set up was semi easy. Much quieter than my old hp printer. I do have two issues. If you want a copy of a printed photo, you must use the hp web site. You can’t print a copy of a printed photo from the printer screen when placing a photo on the scanner. Strange that a photo printer will not do that. The fax works well, but it is difficult to input the phone number. The keypad lcd screen is not very sensitive to touch. If it wasn’t for those two issues it would have gotten a five.

This printer is fast and efficient. I recently went back to school and find that this printer helps alleviate my stressing over printing. The last printer I owned was aweful and it always gave me trouble printing and connecting to my internet server. I don't have any problems with this printer. Great buy and great printer!

Purchased this printer because I had it's "Big Brother" which was fantastic but now no longer is sold. The"Sr" had a few more options, mostly in the settings, and had a doc feeder. After using this one I realize that you truly do get what you pay for, but sales can make this a good deal. This is a very good printer, prints very good (not excellent) pictures and effortlessly hooks up to your computer (software and hardware). It prints a little slower than my old one, but 5-10 seconds extra per page waiting on a color photograph is no big deal. This is a great computer for the money and they do go on sale so wait a week or two.

This printer is great for home use. That fact that it can be a wireless printer is a huge help when multiple devices are used. It was fairly easy to set up and I can't wait to see the quality for photos.

I got this printer to replace my HP Photo Smart 6850 printer which I loved. But the part that attaches to the black ink cartridge broke and is non replaceable so the printer is dead. This printer was ok to set up (set up manually) except that the printer carriage kept showing a jam error. Took about half an hour to figure out how to fix it via HP website and several website locations to find the exact instructions, but once found they were easy to understand, both graphics and instructions. I printed about 18 5x7 color photos before the color sample ink cartridge ran out. The same error message about the printer carriage jam appeared again when I installed the new cartridges ( I installed a new black one to match), but I did the same fix and it worked. The color photos on glossy photo paper were ok, although the color was a bit off (too red), but when making color pictures onto regular paper there were obvious white lines at regular intervals throughout the picture . It printed black and white text and color text fine. I think this printer is originally $179.99 - $199.99, on sale for $129.99, and I got an additional 15% off which brought it down to about $110 and change before tax. Now that I know it's not "perfect" set up out the box, has the printer carriage /ink cartridge jam error and has the white lines though out the picture when printed on regular paper, I don't think I would pay more than $90 before tax for it.

I'm not a home-photo printer person, so I've only used it to print documents, and those have turned out well; if you're looking for photo-printing reviews, I'm not your guy. Setup was slow, especially to hook up to multiple laptops. But getting on the wifi network was quick. Quiet, efficient, no problems yet. One quirk that took some getting used to: When printing, the output tray automatically extends a bit to catch your printout. It does not automatically retract. Be warned if the printer tray extends into a heavy traffic area of your home office.

We bought this printer because I am a teacher with 4 kids and we are all remote working/learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This wireless printer easily allows us each to print from our devices (Dell, Macbook, and Chromebooks). We have scanned and emailed documents without any problems. We have used every function to date of the printer except for the FAX. I can even print pictures right off of my phone (Samsung)! We have not encountered the first problem with this printer and have used it almost everyday since it was delivered (about 1.5 months ago).

Nothing but positive points for this printer. Approaching the two year mark on the purchase and *(knock on wood), still going strong. Have used all of the fax, print, and scan features and happy to report all features perform flawlessly. Experienced some install issues, but HP tech support was on it and even followed-up to make sure everything was performing correctly. I love the photo print mode as the colors from my family digital photos are beautiful and the resolution is crystal clear (remember to get good quality photo printer sheets) it's worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Purchased this printer to replace a "Kodak" printer that was functional with an older version of Windows. Now Kodak no longer works with new computer so purchased this. Prints very good pictures, not laser quality but... it's not a laser. When people want the quality that you get from a store, either go to the store or pay a lot of money for a high-quality photo printer. This is very good, the regular documents come out excellent and to be honest the replacement ink is cheap. I have the "big brother" to this one and it prints a "little" better but the ink is double the price. Bottom line really good printing, relative reasonable ink and it was very easy set up.

This is my 2nd HP Envy printer. I really enjoyed how much I could do with the 1st one that I decided, when that one finally "wore out," that I would get the exact same model. I enjoy the versatility of the printing functions - paper or pictures, newsletters, homemade cards, etc., as well as all the scanning I have to accomplish. Those are only some of the things this thing is capable of.
