It not quite as nice as the one I replaced, but then it cost half as much. Picture print quality is good. Scan features are acceptable, but not great.

Good Printer for Photo Prints

Only problem is the HP app doesn't work. The app keeps showing the printer is out of paper, even though the 8 x 10 paper tray and the 4 x 6 for photo paper are both full! After several tries, I gave up and now don't use the app.

Bought as a replacement for an older HP

It cost about 1/3 less than the one I was replacing and, instead of having five ink cartridges, it only has two. the printing speed is also greatly improved over the older one.

Changing from Bold to normal print allowed the lighter print to be even. It would be helpful to have some control over the intensity of the ink application. The light print doesn't serve my need for readable print.

nice when it works

I always had connectivity issues.
