Easy to load paper, replace ink and print. GreatHP

HP Envy7855- nice printer so far for the price. However, minimal directions, and impossible to find good online help. Several false sites that my computer would not let me open for security reasons, a LONG process online with useless virtual chat to get a phone number for personal assistance. Once I was able to work with someone over the phone the problem of printer not printing in color from my computer was solved in about twenty minutes. According to info/issues posted online this is a common problem with this printer, has to do with setting up the right drive connection. I didn't like having to give access to my computer to a stranger over the phone but hopefully no problems there. He was very professional and solved the problem in record time, was a pleasure to work with.

Prints documents and pictures good with no problems.

Quiet and prints well on 2 sides of paper. Fast too!

Overall good printer. Sometimes buggy when it comes to connectivity regarding bluetooth printing. Holds an ok amount of ink. Not too much. Does the job though. Definitely recommend doing research in what you need out of a printer.

My first printer, the scanner worked but did not scan. Best Buy made it right and this one works great. The adf works well. It's a little slow printing but for a home printer I think it is an excellent printer. And instant ink will save a lot on the total cost of ink I believe.

I wanted a photo printer that would make large prints. Looking around at the many choices at Best Buy, I settled on the HP - ENVY Photo 7855 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink Ready Printer . I loaded up on HP glossy HP photo papers, and HP plain paper, and a double order of ink cartridges. I'd say I'm a very qualified digital geek / nerd going back to the days of teletype as a USN cryptologic tech, so I know my way around digital. Connecting to WiFi was easy, and I initially loaded the printer with plain paper, and let it do its test sheet. Then I added 4 x 6 HP glossy photo paper. From the beginning, and through the end, no matter what software adjustments I made, the printer status window would insist that the printer was loaded with 5 x 7 photo paper. This led to my photos have people with the tops of their heads cut off. I switched to the large HP photo paper, and after 4 large prints, I was surprised to find that I was now out of ink. Fortunately I did buy two batches of ink, but, I had signed up for the Instant Ink program, and the printer was upset that I wasn't using cartridges from the HP Instant Ink program. It is what it is, I went on with my printing. After about a dozen large photo prints, at best quality, I was out of ink again. After putting in more new ink, I wanted to switch back to 4 x 6 mode. Well it printed 4 x 6, but it was printing it on the 8 1/2 by 11 plain white paper, and after more than a dozen tries to get it to print on my 4 x 6 photo paper that it was till calling 5 x 7 - I'm done. I'm bringing it back to Best Buy. I will add that the user interface with multiple ways to set the printer settings, and NONE of them yielding the desired results, unbelievable from such a quality name. Also I did the software updates and ran the trouble shooting software. Nothing at the consumer level should be this complicated.

Great printer at a low price. Excellent print quality.

We are in Florida for several months and needed a printer for my wife's consulting business. This machine will print color but can be used with only black ink. We rarely need color so this was a good purchase for us and will save on ink over the long run.

Not really a negative but If you are not familiar with computers and downloading information and syncing devices the set up part might be difficult. It’s also pretty big so make sure you pay attention to the dimensions. Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase.

Printer is awesome! Stands up to the job. Every time!

Nice printer. Touchscreen works better than the last printer I had and it doesn’t disconnect from my network like most printers seem to. Minor issue with it detecting my laptop for scanning but that’s likely due to my security settings.

I love their printers. They are so easy to work with.

I like this printer but have had difficulty with the wireless part. I am having to keep it plugged in to work from my computer. It was wireless when I first purchased. I think it was difficult to set up to wireless. Friends have not had any difficulty setting up their printers... Epson and Cannon.

Nice printer works great. I have no issues with it.
