This printer however has not been the best, it works but it does not stay connected wirelessly to the laptop or smartphones. You have to troubleshoot either reset the WiFi settings on the printer, unplug/plug back in the WiFi modem and printer, or turn your phone/laptop on and off. It has a sleep function I suspect this has something to do with it, as my friend has the same exact printer and has the same issues as I do always having to troubleshoot. If you want to just hit print on your device without having to spend 5-15 min troubleshooting the problem then I’d suggest choosing a different device.

I bought the same model that I had previously. I had to install it three times and it still did not work properly. Got a former Geek squad member. Still would not scan. I got another techie to help. Kept getting error message to reinstall drivers. There were none. It turned out that the software was not compatible with my newest version of Apple OS. Would have to scan from the computer and could not use the scan from the printer. Per HP they were not going to update the download for Apple. This is the last HP product I will ever purchase.
