HP Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works replacing an old one. Uses same ink cartridges as the one i5 is replacing. Hook up and go. Not much more than that.

Lots of features...but doesn’t print very fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love all the features this printer has built in, but am disappointed with how long it takes for the printer to load the page(s) to be printed before it actually starts printing.

Not happy...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer has the look of quality, but that's about it. It just sits there doing nothing. I bought a new HP laptop, and this new HP printer, and they don't recognize each other. Oh ya, there are help screens, but you better be a computer tech. to understand them. There is ZERO, nada, no tech help available from HP, and that's the most disturbing part of this. Spend over $2,000 for new equipment, and they still don't want to hear your problems. I had one of my geeky friends look at it, and they had the same luck. Next week I'll take the hours drive back to Best Buy to see if the Geek Squad can do anything with it. I am thoroughly disgusted. But will have to say that the Geek Squad had done me well in the past. I can't give any rating for this printer, because as of yet haven't seen it work.

Pretty quick output
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are not heavy printer users. I used to play with printing my own photos, but the ink was just too expensive and the colors were unpredictable. I just got this HP Envy and so far so good. The setup was simple. It is big and I won't be using the fax since I don't have a phone line free. However, I'm using the hpsmart app on my iPad and everything so far has worked quickly. I've signed up for the e ink program and don't think I will be worrying about "expensive" ink anymore. I've printed a couple of photos and they came out true to life. Looking forward to printing more pictures at home now. My husband was able to print from his android tablet and my iMac in another room picked up the new printer with no problem, and my iPhone 7plus worked great as well. I haven't tried the card reader or USB drive yet, but nice to have it when needed. I am very pleased with my new printer and think it will be a great addition.

Copy fax machine for office
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is good for office forms and copies for hard files. But for actual photos it does not match the standards of our previous Cannon printer.

Good quality prints but a little slow
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously I had a larger HP printer and it seems like I got my prints much faster than with this smaller Envy Photo 7855. The quality is still the same high quality.

Noisy & Imprecise Paper Feed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Noisy. Feeding of labels is imprecise so labels do not completely print on individual labels. Almost like it slips when feeding form thru.

It's a good printer but I know there are better.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good printer with average colors clarity. I would shop around before settle on this printer. Not to say it's not good, but it's not the best.

I cannot connect it to my computer or phone.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer because it is Apple compatible, and it is both wired and wireless. Despite having the right cables, it doesn’t work with my MacBook. When I followed the directions on how to sync it with my iPhone, it didn’t work either. This, along with not having an instruction/troubleshooting booklet, is infuriating! Having to pay $100 for a 200 page print-out of the pdf is insulting!

ok printer/scaner
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't tell you when you are out of ink. I just doesn't print well. It also doesn't give you a lot of options when scanning.

It's o.k.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It says there is no paper when it's full. There's a orange exclamation point which has no explanation. HP doesn't have anyone that will answer your questions.

Expensive ink
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the printer. But ink is so expensive. somethimes think it is cheaper just to buy new printer instead of ink

Good for real basic use. Runs slower.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is slower then I thought. Also when scanning in a document it is very slow. I had to do 1 sheet at a time. I’m not completely satisfied with this.

Works ok, not as good as my previous printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the printer is ok. It often goes into sleep mode and my iPad doesn’t pick it up as an air printer unless I physically go over to the printer screen to wake it up.
