Great printer when it works. 6 months after warranty expired the print heads totally blanked out. Cleaning repeatedly did not solve the problem. HP sends a message they no longer support my printer

When I first got this printer it worked great After about 2 months I couldn't get the wireless to work. I have to use the cable to hook up to my computer. It will not connect to my phone. And for the last 3 months when I print something from my computer. There are sometimes lines throughout the ink as it's printing.

      Hey there,

While it's great to hear that the printer was working well for the first 2 months, I'm so sorry that you've been seeing some issues with wireless connectivity and off-quality prints. I understand this is affecting your ability to print reliably, so I'd love to see how I can help resolve this for you.

First, I suggest taking the recommended steps in this 'Offline Printer' document:
      - Windows: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04249080
      - Mac: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04249334

As a supplement to that, this link will guide you through solutions for a wide range of other wireless issues: hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=Printer_Does_Not_Maintain_Wireless_Connection.net

Then, with what you've described, it sounds like the lined prints can be attributed to a print quality issue. That said, the following document should help provide some improvements: support.hp.com/document/c05541385

If these complications persist, please contact us for support. We would be more than happy to explore other solutions with you. You can get in touch anytime via your preferred method here: hp.com/contactHP

Very disappointed how few colored photo pictures you can print before running out of expensive ink,,,,, After purchasing this printer and making many calls and being on hold for over an hour each time, I still cannot get a tech to help me understand the printers other functions,,,

The screen for inputting details is too small and several of the letters do not work. When you try to select certain letters, and even the “.com” it selects everything around it but not those letters. It makes it much to cumbersome when trying to scan. Also, it doesn’t allow you to save your email address so you don’t have to type it in every time. I’m wondering if I just got a bad one or if they are all this way. I’m considering returning this item.

      Hi, Treasa.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve encountered such difficulty with your printer. The inputting dilemma you describe sounds downright maddening, not to mention the need to enter your email address every time. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll suggest a resource and provide some information I hope will make that happen.

I can’t tell from your review what’s causing this performance, but I believe it deserves further investigation. I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents can be longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Where do I start? I am on my 3rd replacement. First one quit printing after a couple of weeks. Spent almost 2 hours with the help desk. They sent me a replacement which only printed and copied red right out of the box. The next replacement which I am using now wastes more time, paper and ink than is acceptable. And most of the time when I send a print from my windows laptop, I get an error message the it cannot print. After a while, it may actually print all or part of the document. I have become an expert at reloading software to no avail. I am very patient but since I bought this thing 9 months ago it has done nothing but frustrate and disappoint me. I have owned 2 HP printers before this one but I'm done. It is going out for trash and I'm buying a Canon.

Very Difficult to Connect to This Printer

I've had a Canon Pixma printer for years and loved it. When it finally died on me I decided to get the HP ENVY Photo 7855 because of the good reviews. I am sorry that I bought this every single day. It is impossible to connect to. I try to print something and it invariably says it can't find the printer or can't connect to the printer. I printed once from my phone but since then it can't find the printer anymore. We've had it for several months now and everyone in the house has the same problem, Do not buy it.
