Be careful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did not have in store so had to order. Got it about four days later. Tried hooking it up but there was a major problem. Called HP service and wound up sending the unit back and had to wait to get a replacement after paying an additional $25

Posted .Hi,
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience of having to return the printer. I hope the replacement is everything you were hoping for!
Just to clarify, HP does not charge for support and returns on printers within the warranty period. What you paid was probably expedited shipping.

Printer does not recognize photo paper
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer does not recognize there is paper loaded when I insert 4x6 photo paper. That is the main reason I bought the printer and I am unable to print the pictures I need to print.

Posted .Hi there.
I’m sorry to hear that your printer has failed to recognize 4-by-6 photo paper when you load it. I can understand why that would be terribly disappointing, especially considering photo printing is the main reason you got the printer. With that in mind, I’ll offer some resources and information I hope will help.
First, I recommend you follow the steps in this troubleshooting guide for printers that display an out-of-paper error and do not pick up paper:
- support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00786157
If the problem persists, I suggest that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can guide you through the proper troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Worst Printer in the Industry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer did not last me a year. The ink level was not close to full and the printer would not print the color correctly. The troubleshooting did not work and I had the printer replaced. The replacement stopped working six months later with the same issue but also makes random noises. This was considered HP's top of the line printer but I consider this the worst printer I had encountered. Same issue that can't be fixed even with new ink. I took the printer back and will never buy a HP printer.

HP crap printer
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the worst printers to use with a MacBook that I have had. It continually loses connection and I have had to have it replaced by HP once due to print quality issues. Now Best Buy is not even willing to take it back even though I purchased the 4 year protection plan! I need this printer for my home business and I cannot afford to have it out of commission.

too much trouble!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own a Mac desktop, don't buy this printer. It doesn't seem to easily match up with it and then you need to add special apps for it to work. It still didn't work after all that, so I was using a printer with delayed printing and could not print from my phone (Motorola). 2 days and three and a half hours on the phone, I am returning it. Now the touch screen is locked up and the printer cartridges can't be switched because they don't go into place when you open up the top of the printer.

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.THE MOST UNINTUITIVE PRINTER I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. PRINTING VARIOUS SIZE PAPER/CARDS/ENVELOPES IS LIKE PULLING TEETH RATHER THAN GETTING A NICE PRINT YOU GET ERROR AFTER ERROR INSTEAD. Kicked HP to the curb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute garbage. HP seems to have lost its edge when it comes to affordable, home, all-in-one products. Continuous loss of connectivity. Not especially user friendly when setting up. HP products used to be the King of the printers, but after replacing another HP with this one, I will never purchase another HP product. If they don't care to make quality, that's fine, there are many other options with better value, like Epson and Brother. Sorry HP, you've lost your shine.

Fantastic printer!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic printer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new photo printer that wants ease of use and peace of mind with it. Setup is a breeze with the HP Smart Printer App which installs on your Tablet, Phone or PC. Instant Ink is awesome if you're like me and don't want to worry about remembering to order new ink when I need it. Loading up paper is simple and it holds both photo paper and regular paper at the same time. All in all, I like the features and the print quality is great in the testing that I have done with some photos and documents. Pros: Easy Setup with App on your PC, Phone or Tablet Quiet operation Fast printing High quality photos Automatic Document Feeder Flatbed Scanner HP Instant Ink Compatible Duplex Printing Easy to use apps that have great features Wireless Cons: Combined Color Cartridge (CMY) No Expanded Ink Colors (not a huge deal as it prints good but would make it print even better than it does)

Worst Printer I've ever had.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't open it until COVID started and so I missed the return window. Worked poorly for about a month and then hardly worked at all. I tried replacing the ink and still everything came out printed extremely faint and streaky. Completely illegible. I bought it because the salesman told me it was a great scanner and its horrible. The scans are blurry and when I run documents through the document feeder they turn out crooked and jammed and completely unusable. Worst printer I've ever had.

Disappointing - Do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer to replace another HP printer that I just could not get to work anymore. I should have bought something else. It uses the ink up way too fast compared to every printer I have ever owned. And I am constantly having problems with getting it to print correctly. My print always has missing colors or streaks. And yes, I clean the cartridges, realign the cartridges, and anything else I can find for troubleshooting. Seriously disappointed.
