It worked great for about 6 months. After that we started having connection issues with both WiFi and Wired connections. at about the year mark, the color completely stopped working. New ink tried to clean it and nothing worked. We have since replaced it with a different brand.

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed so poorly. I can certainly understand why repeated visits from the retailer’s tech support people and the frequent need to uninstall and reinstall the device would be exasperating. I want to help you resolve this situation, so I’ll provide a resource and some information I hope will reach that goal.

I can’t tell from your review why your printer has not worked properly. I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and determine the best course of action. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

      Hi there,

I am so sorry that your scanner isn't working as it should be. We always strive to provide long-lasting reliability with our printers, so hearing about this is very unfortunate. That said, I'm hoping I can turn this around and help remedy this for you.

First, I recommend running our 'HP Print and Scan Doctor' general diagnostic tool, as it often resolves common scanner issues. If you're a Windows user, you can find the download for the tool here: support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03286146

Otherwise, please reach out to us so we can work through this in more detail with you. We’re always here to help, so you can get in touch via your preferred method at this link: hp.com/contactHP

The last thing I'd like to mention is that HP printers do also have a 1-year warranty from their purchase date, so if you find you need to use it, I hope you will. To verify the warranty, you can use the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty
