The color tones are great and the ink lasts a long time. It took almost 3 weeks to go thru the install ink. If you have the instant ink program, you get the ink well before you need it. This printer replaced another HP envy I had for over 6 years. i wouldn't have another brans of printer. This is a great printer for alot of pages or a few.
