All in one machine, this is a versatile and accurate printer that surprisingly will achieve quality fleshtone prints that show subtle photographic achievements. Anybody does good duotone text and glossy prints, but shaded colors, especially human skin, is difficult, so far, we have been surprisingly successful wth htis relatively inexpensive machine

I am just beginning to use my new printer and so far I am loving it. It connected very easily to my computer, is wireless, and responds with amazing speed once you click on print (my old printer moaned and groaned for at least two minutes before starting). Ink is easy to change and requires fewer cartridges. The printed pages dry in a flash and I have had no smudges. Color quality is very good.

Had to replace an 8180 series HP printer that took individual color cartridges. This one takes the tri-color and black. Haven't run low on ink yet, but it hasn't been used extensively either. As far as printing pictures, it seems to do just as good as the 8180 series. Have not tried out the scanner or SD card reader yet. I think for the average user who wants to print a picture every now and then, it's fine.

Wow, I'm shocked that this printer is so fantastic. It's the cheapest one I tried out (of several) and by far the fastest and best quality printing. This is laser sharp, versus very blurry old school printing from one I got at Costco that was supposedly a higher level purchase. Very happy with the quality here. Only cons: the ink does not last long at all. And I haven't tried to print any photos, so I can't speak to that ability.
