Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.have only owned a few days but it seems to be a quality product. we use with a couple mac's and an Iphone, set up was a breeze with airprint, we had it up and printing within minutes no drivers , no apps. The quality of the pictures it prints is very good, the thing drinks ink doing pictures so we enrolled in the HP instant ink so we'll see how that goes.

Excellent replacement for HP 8600

I appreciate the improvements in the performance and the reduced physical size. Seems to be a bit faster than the 8600 as well. Just trying the Instant Ink program so can't comment on that aspect. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Good prints - buggy scan software

The software through wireless is moderately buggy. "Scan to Computer" stops working after a while until the computer is rebooted, and at least once a week the printer shows "offline" and won't print from the computer until a reboot of the computer.

simple to set up and use

We really just needed a simple home printer/scanner for our new work from home lifestyle - this fits the bill nicely. Sometimes slow to wake from sleep cycle when you send a document for printing, but it always comes out (after a few minutes...), there's probably a way to fix that with some setting, but we're not terribly tech savvy.
