I had my other HP printer for a long time before it finally just quit on me. I am a teacher, and I used it to print all my students' assignments during the two years we were distance learning. I got the same model because of its performance and quality printing.

When the cost to refill the 6 ink cartridges on my HP C5300 printer finally cost more than buying a new printer, and the 02 cartridges were getting more difficult to find I chose to replace it with the 7855. There are many pros, such as the top loading ability, the print quality, and it is pretty quick at completing tasks. The cons (to me) are concerning though. It is a wireless printer, and it is true that it is wireless. I personally do not like that I cannot seem to use the bluetooth option for connection and only use through my router/wireless network. It's nice to have the printer on the other side of the room simply plugged into the wall outlet, but the purpose of having it in the spot (next to my desktop) where the old one sat is seemingly more of my priority. The option to run as a "wired" connection is there which is nice for when my internet service provider/their router is semi-frequently not functioning. However, HP has chosen to no longer include a cable to do so, which means it is an additional purchase. Needless to say I will be purchasing a cable very, very soon. I suggest anyone else that purchases a wireless printer to do the same.

Easy to understand set up and excellent quality printing.

The photos that it prints from our phones are amazing, as good as what the photo stores produce. We scan items from the printer to our desktop computer using Adobe Acrobat or Photo Shop. Or the native program can be used on the printer sending it to the desk top computer. The auto feeder on the printer will automatically scan all pages into one file.

Great printer for home use. Easy to install and great quality printing.

The printer is easy to use and being able to print from many devices is a plus.

This new 7855 has replaced a terrible 7640 which I now know must have come with problems from the factory and which gave me nothing but grief. This 7855 so far has been excellent, working smoothly and producing pages of very good quality. SUGGESTION: Please make the toolbar larger. The size of the 7640 was perfect - this one is far too tiny for no apparent reason.
