I bought this printer in July 2020 to replace a similar, earlier model. After 5 years that model stopped printing colored ink so I replaced it. This printer and the one preceeding it are very easy to operate and this new one was easy to install. I had not looked forward to buying a new one and installing it, but it was so easy....no problems!

Copies are clear, photos are beautiful. Printer is fast and quiet.

When the cost to refill the 6 ink cartridges on my HP C5300 printer finally cost more than buying a new printer, and the 02 cartridges were getting more difficult to find I chose to replace it with the 7855. There are many pros, such as the top loading ability, the print quality, and it is pretty quick at completing tasks. The cons (to me) are concerning though. It is a wireless printer, and it is true that it is wireless. I personally do not like that I cannot seem to use the bluetooth option for connection and only use through my router/wireless network. It's nice to have the printer on the other side of the room simply plugged into the wall outlet, but the purpose of having it in the spot (next to my desktop) where the old one sat is seemingly more of my priority. The option to run as a "wired" connection is there which is nice for when my internet service provider/their router is semi-frequently not functioning. However, HP has chosen to no longer include a cable to do so, which means it is an additional purchase. Needless to say I will be purchasing a cable very, very soon. I suggest anyone else that purchases a wireless printer to do the same.

This printer replaced an older model HP printer. It was easy to set up for my home computer via USB as well as my laptop via wireless but you have options to do either USB or wireless for any computer. This printer is quieter and provides a better quality prints too. It could be just my own observation and opinion but I believe this printer is also more efficient with the ink.

The photos that it prints from our phones are amazing, as good as what the photo stores produce. We scan items from the printer to our desktop computer using Adobe Acrobat or Photo Shop. Or the native program can be used on the printer sending it to the desk top computer. The auto feeder on the printer will automatically scan all pages into one file.

I bought the HP Envy 7855 printer and has done everything my old printer couldn’t. It has wireless which is good to have less cords to get messy and I can print from my iPhone easily. It’s design is very good and compact and clean looking. I like the touchscreen like my iPhone it’s easy to use. I would recommend this printer as a top of the line printer that can do it all.

This printer was easy to install and setup to work with my laptop running windows. The downloaded app makes it easy and friendly to work with my iPhone and iPad. The features of the printer make it easy to do all of the things I need to do. The best thing is that I don't have to worry about whether or not I will be able to do that special action, it just works!
