I purchased this printer when my kids started having to do their school work home. It was fairly easy to set up, and the quality of the prints seems good. The only downside for me is that the printer itself was larger than I anticipated.

Ongoing Issues with Photo Tray (2 Separate Units)

This is the second one I've bought that has had problems with reliably feeding from the photo tray. The unit will try and load the paper for a few cycles followed by an error message. I've followed HP support feedback and action steps and this hasn't resolved the issue (on either model). At the price point, it isn't worth the hassle and expense of sending back and forth with HP to fix. I'm being generous with my rating as I primarily print full-page documents. I wouldn't recommend this model if you plan to primarily print photos.

My Envy 7855 printer has surprised me several times since I got it connected last night. The printing is awesome and it automatically prints on both sides of the paper when I tell it to. I have not tried any pictures yet but probably will next week.

I REPLACED MY OLD HP WITH THE HP ENVY 7855. I HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 MONTHS AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS . SET UP WAS EASY BUT I DID NOT USE THE WIRELESS CONNECTION. PHOTO PRINTING IS GREAT NO ISSUES. REGULAR PRINTING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE PRINTER HAS MORE OPTIONS THAN I WILL EVER USE.

I use my printer everyday. I thought my 6700 was tired bc it wasn't working. I'd had it several years. I bought this new one. So easy to set up and connect to wireless even I could do it. It prints both sides, and the park of having ink shipped when the printer says I'm getting low is fabulous!

I love it! With the HP Smart App, it works perfectly when I'm somewhere and need to print it. My roommates use it all the time from their rooms. Prints great, the scanner for when I need to turn in my assignments works so well! Definitely a must!

The print quality when in black-and-white seems to be fine. I had a problem, initially printing photos or on standard paper because it would only print in black-and-white. Not sure if it was because I was installing it on an Apple though.

Replaces an HP 7520 that lasted over 8 years. A bit different, but so far so good. The ink is a little more expensive and still on the starter pack so time will tell how long it lasts. For home and intermittent printing. Needed a fax which works well.

The HP Envy 7855 Wireless All-In-One Instant Ink Ready Printer (black) is an awesome printer. It will serve as a personal printer or a home office. The ability to print, copy, scan, print photos, download pictures from your phone and print, etc. covers pretty much everything you could want.

Good quality prints, tho improvements can be made on pictuer quality but still very good for the price point. And I’m not sure if it’s my router or the printer but I occasionally have to reconnect the printer to the WiFi, minor irritant for major convince. Nothing is perfect.

Looking for a new printer. HP rep at best buy recommended this one. She said it was all wireless even the fax, but found out later I need a phone line for the fax. First printer I got wouldn't set up with ink and had to return it. Second one works great.

I have purchased HP printers for years. My last printer I didn't think I needed a fax especially considering we can scan and email... Well that's not always the case. I found this one at a good price. Easy set up and everything connected, set up and working in about 30 minutes.

This is mid range photo printer .. it works great with the regular prints mostly office/school stuff.. but if for photo prints I won’t recommend it. This is all in one printer and everything works just good ... this is definitely a good buy.

Good quality all-in-one printer for the price. The copy, print and scan feature work great. I have not yet tried the fax option. This is my second HP Envy - I upgraded to a newer version - I would definitely recommend it.

I have used this only to print photos and documents so far. I’m especially happy with the quality as a photo printer. It’s a bit bigger/bulkier than I expected, but not unmanageable for a home office. Overall, very happy I bought this printer.

Good printing and scanning quality for the price what I really love about This printer is that it prints double sided which before used to be very hard to find or you would have to purchase a special duplex mechanism. This printer does it all!

This replaced an older printer which had stopped working. It was easy to set up and works fine so far. These units always have a finite life span and are never worth repairing--so when they die you just replace them. We'll see how long it lasts but so far so good.

Purchased this all-in-one printer to replace my old HP 7520. Set up was very easy, only took about 30 minutes. However, the pull out tray is jammed in the paper tray, and I can not get it out, so the printer spits paper on the floor.

I love this printer. I have been printing on transfer paper for t-shirts I’ve making and I have made a lot. This printer has been a beast so far. It’s been hooked up to my Cricut and works awesome. No problems and great quality.

The photos and letters both are high quality print. My only issue was the printer would not recognize the photo paper tray as being full, It kept giving me an error message that it was empty . I returned it for another machine and its working great!
