The keyboard is off-center, the backlight on the silver keys is useless, it freezes, won't work with Google Drive, and doesn't open documents in tabs, only as separate windows. HP won't honor an exchange, although I just got it 1/17 for my birthday - I really tried to make it work - I kept trying. Turns out I took too long to return, now I'm stuck!! I can't afford this!

I expected a working laptop

I expect more from HP. The keyboard is difficult to see as the letters are illuminated in white light. In the daylight they basically disappear. This one is going back.

Best Buy's website is incorrect

Bestbuy's website is incorrect. I've had the laptop for a week now. Who knows what else they say it has that it actually doesn't. Thanks for wasting my time and money BB.

Be Aware

First my screen hinges got broken and it ended up breaking my touchscreen. Now I have to spend $400+ to fix it. And unfortunately this seems like a very common problem for this laptops.

Manufacturing design flaw hinge broke
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop during Black Friday back in 2021 and barely used it, possible 4-5 times in the 3 years that I have owned it. It is a well maintained almost mint condition product, yet today, suddenly the left hinge broke. I reached out to Hp support for their manufacturing design flaw and they quoted me $400 plus to get his fixed since my product is out of warranty. I would recommend against purchasing from HP as they quote the consumer a hefty price for their manufacturing design flaw and refuse to take accountability. I have had other laptops that lasted years with more usage than this specific product.
