I am having issues with the power button, it will not power on every time I need it too. I have to keep messing with it to turn on, battery life seems very short as well.

Had one I bought a few years back and software proved fairly reliable however the hardware on the previous one failed. Hopefully this one will prove more sturdy.

This is my fourth HP computer, so I'm a loyal and returning customer. I've owned it about a month. I told the sales associate I wanted something fast and with a solid-state drive. When this computer is having a good day, it's very fast and user-friendly, and the best I've ever owned. But when it's having a bad day, it's a frustrating sloth. I have to use the optimize feature in the HP Assistant daily, and that still doesn't seem to free things up. Sometimes the keyboard experiences some sort of a delay during these slow times. You'll be typing away, then look up and find that you're a paragraph behind. And you can watch it slowly catch up on the screen. And you're hosed if you've made a mistake, because it takes a long time to catch up to your keyboard inputs, then you have to slowly press backspace until you reach the area needing correction, lest you go too far back and have to do it all over again. And sometimes internet use is incredibly slow. I've verified internet connection speed is okay, and it's actually a little faster than the package I paid for from AT&T. So the bottleneck isn't with the internet, it's a periodic issue with the computer itself. I have buyers remorse, and wish I could get my money back. So far this computer isn't worth nearly what I paid for it, and it is not a good value.

Used it for a few day and then the computer became slow and would freeze so I returned it

So this is my third HP laptop I purchased. First one was one version down from this laptop. After using that one for a couple of days it suddenly restarted and popped up with a warning that there was a malfunction with the fan. Okay, things happen, so I returned it and purchased this version. It worked great for about 2 weeks. Then I started hearing a buzzing that I could momentarily stop by tapping the top (assuming the fan). I tried blowing air in there but no good. The sound would go and come back at times. I decided to return it before I lost my chance. I purchased another one and had it running in my room overnight. I woke up this morning to the thing sounding like a buzz saw. Tapping did nothing so I had to turn it off. Suffice to say I highly recommend you stay away from these HP envy laptops if you plan to leave them running. I’ll have to now return this one now and search for another brand.

Less than a year, the laptop crashes giving the blue screen of death. Something related to cooling fan not working. Even worse, we got the Geek Squad protection, what a horrible experience that is. We are praying we will see the laptop soon. But no one at Geek Squad, who we can actually communicate with, knows. It's all in the mysterious hands of the service agent who doesn't communicate with the customer.

We use the computer to store travel photographs and send pictures to the 7 grandchildren.

Bought this as an ipad pro replacement. Took it back and bought a new ipad instead. Performance was terrible trying to use for drawing and illustration.

Great laptop for the price. The touch screen is very responsive. Only downside 8GB Memory. It has great battery life.

Love that its touch screen and fast and big enough to comfortably work on.

I have been using this laptop since 2018!! Yes, 7 years and it’s still going while my daughter and wife went through 3 laptops total (they chose different brands). I love it and highly recommend it!
