Excellent, solid, fast computer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop was a replacement for another new hp I bought recently which was complete crap. The old one was slow and screen cracked in the corner. This laptop is night and day! It feels lighter yet quality. It's solid. Screen doesn't flex like half the models do in the store. The screen is clear. It's a solid state, making it super fast. The color is actually a purply brown color, which is super cool and unique. The sound is good. It loads up instantly. The biggest issue I had when deciding on a computer is, okay how much memory do I need if I want it to actually WORK and stop being slow? Well with this solid state, it really didn't matter. It may only be 256gb but it's quick and doesn't get bogged down. I would buy this a thousand times over. Great product.

seems like a really good laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this laptop a few weeks now. I am not on it daily but have used it a fair amount. Mainly for emails, documents, and internet. It works great for all of that. I plan to use it for some photo editing as well in the near future. The keyboard feels great. Nice and solid. One of the best features is the separate number pad. So far I would highly recommend this computer to anyone.

Taking it back....AGAIN
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to give this one a good review but.... It runs great, they've both run great but I had to return the first one due to a faulty screen (vertical green line) and now I guess I have to go back to the store with the second one due to a microphone that doesn't work which doesn't seem like a bid deal except all this working remotely fun stuff. Since I'm returning it for a second time, I'm on the fence about getting a different machine all together. I've only spent about a week in total on this thing but it seems to have some bad juju. This is my first HP and it's giving me heartburn. :( The jury is still out on this one.....

HP Envy x360 is a great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For some reason, my better half likes to drop his computer and crack the screen! I purchased this computer as a replacement for him. One of the deciding factors was the size of the keys on the keyboard. They are bigger than most and easy to hit the right key without creating a huge footprint with all the bulky extra space around the keys. This has laptop has worked very well, is fast and has great battery length. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

Easy set up process
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work from home and wanted a bigger screen with the the 2 in 1. This computer is everything I wanted. It has a very quick and easy set up process! It is a bit on the heavy side fyi. The display looks great and love the fact that is a tablet also. We use it for the kids virtual instruction and they love its a touchscreen! The only think I dont like is all of the fingerprints left on the outside of the computer cover but for me its not enough to make me drop a star.

Superb Premium Laptop When Caught on Sale
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this HP Envy x360 (AMD Ryzen 5) back on 6/18/20 for 550 and it is a fantastic laptop. It is a little heavy for frequent travel. However, it makes up for it with its performance. It smokes higher-priced Intel laptops and its build quality is a lot higher than most laptops at this price point. I liked this laptop so much that I bought another one just like it (or so I thought) from WM on 12/29/20 for 550 as well. Both were great sale prices. I'd like to point out a couple of odd differences: The Best Buy model has a power button on the top keyboard area while the WM one has a left-side power button (which is great for business / people that have it connected to a dock with multiple monitors (you can power it on without having to open the lid!) The Walmart one has a physical webcam shutter switch on the right-side of the laptop while the Best Buy one has a Fn key that activates the webcam shutter (on/off). The WM model is also a little sleeker with angled edges vs. the blockier BB model. (hard to describe but a different chassis all together). Both came with 2x4GB memory modules. So, you'd have to replace one if you wanted to upgrade. Both also can be powered by USB-C, but make sure you get like an 87W USB-C AC adapter so it can deliver at least 65W through a USB-C hub (if you use one).

Must have backlit keyboard
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased one for work in January and liked it so much purchased same one for personal use. A couple of things changed 1. The one purchased in January plugged in on the left side and the newer model now plugs in on the right. I preferred the left side but not a deal breaker. 2. Love the backlit keyboard for late night typing. Like the slim but sturdy design and like the matte finish. No complaints, so far very happy with purchase. Quickly shipped right to my home.

Webcam is 720p, not 1080p!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent laptop. Had to exchange it because the first one I got had physical and internal issues though. However, it's listed on here as having a 2MP and 1080p camera but it's actually 0.9MP and 720p. I noticed it in my camera settings and then I double checked it on the HP website and it was true. I was pretty disappointed when I found this out so I hope no one else get's fooled. I contacted Best Buy about it so I hope they fix it.

Great for the price of admission
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First laptop purchase in many years and am very happy with it. I'm no tech expert, but for a carry around the house and on the road laptop, it's been just what I'm looking for. A few of the things I was looking for were a larger screen, dedicated number pad and good battery life. I compared a few laptops all within the general price range of $600 to $900. This one did happen to be on sale which sweetened the deal of course, but either way, it's been a nice purchase. It feels solid and I love the keyboard. The solid build of it may bring a bit more weight than some people like, but I pretty much take it somewhere and set it down so that's not an issue. The screen is beautiful, featuring touch control and will also fold up to become a "large tablet" style device. Although I don't use it that way quite as much as a standard laptop, simply having the option of the feature is very cool. I'm impressed by the speaker output and quality as well. Mostly for video viewing (which of course with user made videos can vary greatly) having quick access to good speakers is nice. Keys for volume, mute, backlight with music and video function control is very nice. It even has some nice features that I don't use (biometric security) which is nice to have if that's what you're looking for. Negatives? It would be nice to have a physical camera cover (there is a digital "camera off" switch on the keyboard) and a Lenovo that I looked at had an exhaust style vent on the bottom to help with temperature control. So it could have had a couple other bells and whistles, but overall, I'm very happy with the design, function and bang for the buck. Oh yeah, nice battery life!

Good laptop for everyday purposes
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs very smoothly. No issues after having for a couple of months. Only down side is it can get hot if computer fans are not allowed to vent continuously while using. Thin laptop so heats up somewhat quickly. Beyond that, great buy for anyone that just wants it for day to day use (netflix, web browsing, etc...) wouldn't reccomend for large gaming apps per say.

HP Envy 360.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a replacement from a 7 year old HP Envy 360. It is GR8 but I find some (annoying) 'small' things are inexplicable. For eg. enlarging & decreasing text size w/ a touch & a small 'magnifying glass' icon to regulate % of size - is nowhere to be found. And - no hint of instruction of how to manage this & a few other small but, again, annoying, things. The computer performs Very Well but the small Daily annoyances do obtrude.

Great Great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this laptop. Very Sleek and beautifully designed. To go from laptop to tablet is very convenient. Love the back-lit keys and feels good to type on.. Processor is fast but only negative is sometimes the touch screen lags. I purchased at $780 and within 1 months watch the price dropped to $500. Of course they price matched it for me..its definitelyworthy of a 800 price but, .the real price is around $500 dont pay more..I absolutely recommend it..

Good buy when on sale
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it so far. It meets most of my needs sufficiently. I do have 2 issues though: 1) Just know the webcam is horrendous. Extremely grainy in decent/regular home lighting. (Yes, drivers are up to date.) You basically need a flash light pointing at your face for it to not be so grainy. If I hadn’t bought this with the Black Friday Deal I would likely return it for that reason since I’m needing it for web conferencing. But from the savings I got it’ll be cheaper just to buy an external webcam or a ring light or something. 2) there is an issue with this model where sometimes the keyboard and trackpad don’t come out of tablet mode. So if you unintentionally tip it one way or use it as a tablet the keyboard and trackpad remain disabled. I found many other users online with this issue. From my understand there are two different sensors: one to flip the screen and another to shut off keyboard/trackpad once in tablet mode. When this happens the only solution I have found is a reboot. I was not able to find any other fixes from others with the same issue once it happens. As a long term solution I had to change two settings. Changed “When I sign in” to “Never use tablet mode” and changed “When I use this device as a tablet” to “don’t switch to tablet mode”. It hasn’t happened since. And strangely I can still choose to use it as a tablet. If I flip the keyboard over, the keyboard does disable and then reenables when I switch it back. Maybe this isn’t the true “tablet mode” that I disabled but this solution seems to work fine for me.

Great multi purpose laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy that I have the function of the touchscreen as well as a tablet. I hit a bump in the road when I first set up the computer, it downloaded a windows update and completely disabled my computer. I spent 4 hours with HP tech support reinstalling windows. I'm still getting used to it but I'm leery that some issues like a disappearing cursor have to do with the software glitch or if its the program I may be using.
