so the second i bought this laptop, it just made this awfully loud buzzing noise until i turned it off. like, nothing i did would mute it. i thought it was coming from the drivers, but it's not, it's literally an unknown problem and i can't find a solution anywhere. how is the wiring so poor in this computer that it makes a deafeningly loud buzzing noise, crashes every time i open teams or zoom for more than 5 secs, and constantly crashes with normal programs eating up the CPU like crazy. i wish i could get a refund and buy something better, or someone could fix this, cause i'm actually sick and tired of this laptop doing this.

Got this for my daughter to use for virtual schooling and we've had constant problems with it. Sound will stop working, have to restart. LOUD buzzing noise that you can hear throughout house, have to restart. This was not a super cheap laptop, but it is garbage-but an ASUS instead!

One month to the day after purchase the wireless network card stopped working. After spending some time on the phone with HP tech support, they decided it had to be returned for repair. I was quoted a turnaround time of 5 business days, sounds optimistic, but we shall see.

Somewhat disappointed with this laptop. Could really use another USB port. Overall it is slow.

Not a nice color I really returned it for that purpose but the silver one has malfunctioned on me 3 times

Almost every time a Windows update comes out the audio drivers stop working. Either the speakers, the microphone, or both. I build computers, this is not user error, it due to faulty drivers. I have spent countless hours each time on the phone with HP support being directed to do fresh installs of Windows. I even sent it to HP under warranty for a "fix". Once I got it back it worked until the next Windows update. I've owned dozens of computers and laptops and have never had this kind of issue with any other brand. I bought this for my daughter's virtual schooling and it is worthless, causing her to lose out on countless hours of class time when the audio stops working usually in the middle of class.

I bought this laptop in august and its already broken. It started with shutting me out of zoom meetings to reboot, then on top of that my microphone is unable to be detected. Then my speaker started making this horrible noise and now I'm failing my class because I have been unable to attend like 4 zoom meetings because of random shut downs, the whole system freezing, and the horrible noise coming from the speakers. The last straw was when i was signing into a timed proctored exam with a special lockdown browser, this computer froze and shut down and refused to reboot, causing me to fail that exam. I will never buy an HP again, as my last one would also randomly update in the middle of things as well.

It does the job. of course it would be nice if additional accessories came with the package.

Rate is higher then Costco and Amazon. I have checked later date of purchased

Terrible computer. We returned it - you can’t use the webcam as it causes a malfunction and you are stuck restarting the computer due to losing sound, the mic and enduring a terrible buzzing sound,

Works very well. Basic, and very solid. The screen and graphics are great. A bit heavy

speakers make a buzz in the middle of zoom calls, they do play good music tho

Some applications i need to use wouldn’t work on windows as good as on Apple.

Processor problems caused two zoom meetings to be dropped because of no audio and no microphone. Returned it to store and purchased a different laptop. Turned me against Hewlett Packard. Please note that your purchase date is not accurate. 9/8 is the date we returned the HP and made a different purchase.
