Only Average. In the beginning power button did not work

This product has been glitchy from day 1. The screen intermittently shows defects in the graphics with a weird green line that appears and disappears. Also the touch screen is intermittently non responsive. I’ve taken it in to be checked out but it only occurs intermittently so nothing can be done. I’ve noticed this after the 15 day full refund policy. So disappointed, finally sold this brand new computer to a friend for $200 after spending near $700.

Bought this for college student daughter. Worked for the first Zoom class. However, speakers failed and the laptop would have to be shutdown. Happened every time even after Geek Squad. Exchanged it for a MacBook. Great customer service from Best Buy in Eatontown, NJ though!

The computer functioned as I had hoped and expected. However, I would only get 3-5 hours out of the battery, depending on how I was using it. I felt that keeping it plugged in all the time defeated the purpose of having a laptop rather than a desktop computer.

We specifically chose this laptop due to the sound from the display model comparing to other brands....We were happy with it up until a few months ago when anytime we're in a Zoom Meeting we either lose the speakers or the microphone, which then requires a re-boot to re-join. System diagnostics show no issues, HP diagnostics show no issues. Web searches have found others with similar problems. Zoom Meetings was our primary reason for purchasing. For the higher price and issues, I wish I had chosen a different laptop.

Both the device itself and the charger overheat. Item also does not want to hold a charge. Laptop is one month old and best buy only allows returns for two weeks. Shuts off randomly.

If you are a student and need to do multitasking, this computer is not it. The Ryzen is ok but the 4G RAM slow it down and make it crash. Zoom crashed a bunch of times. Returned it ASAP and got something higher RAM & processor.

Seemed pretty easy to set up and transfer files. Not a fan of the keyboard, the pause feature on the shift key drives me crazy. Haven't figured out how to turn it off. The drag and drop when using the touch screen doesn't work very well, either.

Only giving one star due to the screen went black after it was just over a year old. It was barely used during the year I had it and right at 3 weeks of my daughter being away at college the screen just went out on her during an assignment. Unfortunately I did not have a Geek Squad package so the laptop is useless and Geek Squad wanted to charge me starting at $300 to $400. Other than that the color and easy use of it was great. I even complained to HP themselves but nothing without that repair package. It's a gimmick so almost $700 down the drain.

This computer is terrible! I have always been a HP person. This has changed my mind. I have had non stop issues with it since the day I got it and have not been able to get in contact with HP support AT ALL. Would not recommend. I spent $834 dollars on a product I can’t use that is basically now just a paper weight. I will say it’s my fault for not purchasing a geek squad plan but I have never had an issue before and didn’t expect it with such an expensive and well known product. Very disappointed

Purchase this HP Envy PC with AMD Chip and had many problems with it. Returned to Best Buy for the HP Envy 360 with i5 Intel Chip and it has worked fine. Don't recommend this particular PC with the AMD Chip.

I haven’t used the laptop much, use it for regular internet like news, you tube videos, webex meetings and watching movies, while watching movies in amazon prime with laptop speakers, a terrible buzzing noise appears after an hour of streaming, the problem doesn’t appear while using Bluetooth headset, I called HP support, will have to send the laptop for service as this is covered under warranty, will have to manage without a laptop during this time, currently I’m working from home, if the same sound appeared while working with clients it will be embarrassing. Unable to upload the video of the buzzing noise.

We returned this 'open box' unit - it was not functioning in several ways - 1st Windows was not installed completely, 2nd the microphone was not functioning. We replaced it w/ a Microsoft Surface - also open box.

We've had the computer for two years and only used it periodically. It is not our main computer. It has all of a sudden given us an error message and won't boot up. When running diagnostics, it says it can't find the hard drive. And yes, we have always had anti-virus programs on it. All the diagnostic steps that can be done to restore the computer hasn't worked. We now have to take it in and hopefully get it repaired. It should have lasted longer than two years.

Problems with the microphone/speaker while zooming. Buzzing sound can't hear anyone after about 10-15mins of sounding good. Very dissatisfied! This is second pc. ft

Everything was going great until I upgraded to the new edge. I totally lost the internal microphone. Since I am a Teacher, I needed the microphone for my Zoom calls.

I bought this laptop mid Oct 2019. It didn't even last more than 5 months. Mid March 2020, it crapped out. Doesn't even turn on. And fun stuff...because of the pandemic, I could not even get the total tech support from Best Buy that I had purchased. Spent hours on-hold, only to get told they will ship me a box, and yet they never did. So I have been making payments on this laptop for March through May, yet I have been unable to even use it. Do not buy this product. Now that things are opening up, I am hoping Best Buy will actually follow through on their total tech support to get this fixed or replaced.

Have owned this laptop just over a year. Sending it back for the 4th time in 4 months for service on the same intermittent keyboard problem. Because I passed my anniversary date, they have to try to fix it 2 more times before they give up and replace the computer. I would never, never, never buy another HP product. Each time I send it back, I have to wipe it clean then rebuild it when I get it back. Then it fails again. So frustrating and no help from HP. Horrible laptop and miserable service. Oh, but their customer service reps are very nice on the phone. Great. :-(

This laptop is very nice for the price in almost everyway, except for one glaring issue: It locks up and freezes during and voice chat. Zoom, discord, steam, it doesn't matter, it will lock up within 30 minutes to an hour of using it for this and a loud buzzing noise will start, at this point you have to restart the entire system. This is a known issue since August and HP has not acknowledged the issue or provided a timeline for a fix. Completely unacceptable. Search Envy 360 buzzing and look at the support posts, please do not buy this laptop, you will be very frustrated.
