Beautiful computer, but had an issue with the audio, and it was under warranty replaced and the second one failed too, returned and got our money back.

I've had this computer for less than 6 months and within that timeframe I've lost the use of audio and video playback. Have gone through multiple troubleshooting attempts but nothing has helped.

Battery issues right out of the box. It would randomly turn off or not turn on. Within the first year I had to pay to get the battery replaced. (Tried to send it back right before the warranty expired and they never sent the return label/package. Also said the computer would be gone for many weeks.) Now the hinge just broke on one side so the screen is separating from the lid - which is pulling on some wires so I anticipate a total breakdown soon. I thought an HP would last longer than 2 years......

Just bought it last August. Became overheated - very hot to touch and then no power - will not power on. Had Geek Squad repair it last week - it worked for 1 day and same thing happened - it overheated and will not power on. Tried troubleshooting with Geek Squad over phone but no luck. Stuck with a broken laptop now due to virus - not accepting any repair work. Wish HP would just ship me a new one.

I purchased this computer for distance learning since im a teacher. The 1st day after 6 hour use came a loud noise and then it froze and shut off in the middle of a lesson. After an exchange I gave it a second shot and now the mic stopped working multiple times during my live streaming. DO NOT BUY....very disappointed HP

Microphone is always stop working and I have to restart the laptop in the middle of any meeting..

Worked great at first. Rarely used it as a tablet and would only get used every so often. But left hinge broke out of no where. Cheaply made

The speakers crack. This listing and most YouTube reviews brag about the sound quality and it sounds like aftermarket poorly connected car speakers. I’d post a video if I could. It’s bad and the Realtek drivers only have one option: 16bit. Other than that, it’s super fast and ridiculously pretty. It doesn’t open with one finger either, not that it’s a necessity of purchasing. And it’s a bit heavy. All would be worth the cost if the speakers didn’t scream “I’m defective” in digitized Morse code. Good luck not getting a lemon. Going back tomorrow.

Would not connect to my home internet! I looked online and this a very common and VERY vexing issue everyone seems to have. The network adapter has to be constantly reset to find certain networks, I had to download all these random drivers just so the computer could connect to my home internet UPON opening. It took months to resolve and it was not user error. Horrible choice on my part and terrible product overall.

I bought this for my child because our school district is doing distance learning. Finally got this all set up, we're 4 days before the first day of school, we go to test the camera AND THE INTERNAL MIC IS COMPLETELY DEFECTIVE. Go ahead and Google "HP Envy internal microphone" and see the plethora of other purchasers who have had the same issue. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! First time buying HP and now our last time.

Computer no longer worked after just 3 weeks! Microsoft was no help, HP was no help and neither was Best Buy! I now have a brand new computer with no operating system. I have purchaed a lot of items from Best Buy, but this will be the last! $1,000 loss!!

The laptop was great on workload, screen quality, touch sensitivity, etc. The one I got blue screened constantly and that is why I returned it.

First one I purchased worked for one day then would not turn on. Power button was lit but no screen. Exchanged with no problem other than waiting 6 days for my replacement. Replaced one worked for 3 weeks then decided not to turn on. I was able to get it working by holding down ctrl alt power but I'm not messing with this flawed model...Best Buy was willing to give me store credit for the second one even though it was 4 days beyond the 14 day money back guarantee. I appreciate the way they handled my situation.

Purchased this laptop for my 8th grader in preparation for virtual learning this school year. Luckily we did purchase the plan for it because in 2.5 weeks the volume didn't work. I took it back on the 29th day of my 30 day refund plan and another customer was also returning this same laptop(a second time) purchased for her daughter for the exact reason. Manager at the time told me he was going to pull them off the shelf because more had been returned and there was no reason for his store to continue to sell them.

Purchase laptop 3 weeks ago . No drops or damage. Out of nowhere the computer won't turn on at all . I get a charging indicator light and that's it . Tech support from geek squad isn't helping either . Won't be dealing with HP again .

Was working fine it seemed, then now it's overheating and won't turn on. I'll have to bring it in, and i haven't even had it a month!

I have not even had this computer for a year yet and it has spent the last 4 months in the HP “repair” center because it either does not turn on, or the screen is distorted. HP support is a joke and their “repair” center does nothing. When the laptop is working, it is a great laptop, but it doesn’t work after about 6 months and HP won’t do anything to help fix the problem. I’m a college student and rely on this computer for my classes.

Only installed updates and Office. Seemed to work fine. Came back a week later. Power light on. No way to reset, power off, get the computer to do anything. Nothing else lights up. Dead. Spent time on HP Chat. Returning to Best Buy

i give it one star just because u have to put at least one. This is the 2nd laptop i purchased the first one stopped working at 8days i had it sound system would not work luckly i was in the time to return to best but. Purchased another one thinking maybe the one i had was defective but again 8 days later the laptop is makkng wierd loud noises the audio stopped working and my screen went blue. Will definitely go return again and go with another brand. This laptop is a piece of crap.
