    Computer crashed when on teams or zoom - numerous times - after only having it for 2 weeks. Seemed to always run hot. Audio would have and annoying buzz and freeze the computer. Microphone and video consistently stopped working even though diagnostics said they worked fine. Computer cannot keep up with demands of todays world. Extremely over priced for such poor quality.

    My mistake was not realizing there was no disc drive on the laptop. Then I started to have problems after about 1-3 months. I didn’t call it in right away because the issue was intermit and I thought that maybe it would rectify itself but it only got worse. I call Best Buy in July or August (not even a year later) and they said the warranty was expired so I actually paid in total over $700 for a laptop that had a bad hard drive. Cannot use the computer now.

    Was happy with the computer briefly. Now it freezes up and makes a loud whirring sound. I’ll have to take it in for repairs before 30 days. Disappointing.

    The internal mic didn't work upon purchase and now it freezes or restarts randomly when we use Zoom or other video conference software. This lends it completely unusable for the purposes of remote learning - which was the reason we bought it. I missed the return deadline by a few days and BestBuy didn't honor it. I've spend countless hours with HP on Tech Support and is the worst experience I've had with HPs since 1997! No longer an HP customer and unhappy with Best Buy

    Nothing but a problem. Sound driver and graphics card had a ton of issues. In discussing with HP and MS, it is a known driver issue with no resolution. Why Best Buy is still selling these computers is beyond me. Complete waste of time. Had to exchange and spend $250 more dollars just to ensure I had a working computer because I am in the middle of school. Not happy.

    Horrible buzzing noise when on web conference calls. Had to return one, got another one again the same issue happened. So now returning the second one. Many people are having this issue however HP cannot help resolve it. Unfortunately, I bought two more of these laptops for students which I will have to have them return since we are all working/schooling from home now.

    I bought this computer for my grandaughter for her high school graduation . She is just starting college and needs it but has taken it back twice to the Geek squad for repairs . They told her there are several other people with same computer having trouble with it. They promised to replace it with a different one if the second repair does not solve the issues with it. I hope that happens because we did not have many to choose from and it cost a lot of money.

    WARNING: DO NOT buy this laptop for running zoom sessions. Multiple zoom sound issues have not been solved after hours with HP support plus returning laptop to HP for free repairs. Spent hundreds of dollars on this, it’s too late to return to Best Buy, and I’m stuck with no audio during zoom sessions! Google before you buy, it has happened to other users.

    I bought this laptop 7/13/2020. It’s September & I’ve already had issues before I even had it for a month. It’s a cool laptop, but it doesn’t work for anything. It needed new updates immediately, & a tune up before 30 days of owning it, because it couldn’t perform for zoom meetings. Don’t waste your money if you’re buying it for school, it won’t hold up.

    Crap laptop. I've had it for a little over a year and its shot - it doesn't turn on. After troubleshooting, its confirmed the laptop itself is not taking any charge. This laptop and my work laptop were both plugged into the same surge protector. Initially, I thought the charger was the issue since my work laptop is totally fine and working. Very frustrated with lack of HP support.

    I’ve got this laptop for my son’s online classes. It was working fine for about a week but after a bios upgrade that was done automatically the camera, microphone and sound stopped working which it was a painful experience because it was in the second day of my son’s online class. I was able to solve the problem by reinstalling all the drivers for this computer, if I knew about this issue I would have chosen a different computer brand.

    I was not happy having the salesperson speak to me in Spanish when I asked all my questions in English. I don't Speak it well so I never use it.

    The screen was flashing black from the very first day and died completely within days. BestBuy was great and replaced it - same issue with the replacement- random black screen flashes. Had to return it. Purchasing a different brand.

    Both this for my son’s virtual learning and after one month of using this laptop it all ready has issues with mic and speaker. Brought it a couple of times to Geek Squad and they couldn’t fix the issue. They said it’s about the software updates but still keeps on acting up after the updates. They told me they’ll send it to HP but it’ll take a long time before I could get it back. HP sucks!!! Will never buy HP again.
