I considered moving up from a Samsung 10" tablet to a larger screen, higher capacity internal memory tablet...Only i-pad met those criteria...Did not want to go Apple...Did my research and considered conventional laptop vs a 2 in 1...Also researched AMD vs Intel...I am retired and only need to surf and read e-mails...I have lots of pic/vids...Not a gamer...Made the choice, waited 5 weeks for a sale and have been elated with my (our) choice (my wife bought one too.)...I won't get into the specs, other than to say, when I research things with intent to buy, I really research...AMD is hitting its stride and Intel, while still great, has been resting on its laurels while AMD has been moving ahead.

I have competing brand 2 in 1's and the HP doesn't lack anywhere compared to the others. The Ryzen 5 (3rd gen mobile) is substantially better than the second gen and even outperforms the latest i7 U series mobile processors. That's significant given the price difference between similar equipped models. I like the 15.6" screen for a larger drawing surface compared to my 13" ultrabooks, but in my opinion you will want to download and install a different color profile as the reds are a bit washed out from the factory profile. That's really the only con I can think of. This machine is upgradeable as well, which gives it an advantage over most 2 in 1 laptops on the market which seem to be soldering everything onto the motherboard. If you're looking for an artist/media tablet or doing some light gaming, this fits the bill well.

I needed a large screen and decided on this 2 in 1. I am happy with the size and weight. The built in number pad and lighted keyboard have been very useful. I wish there were more usb ports. I use the only one for a mouse and need to add a usb tree all the time much.

Love being able to click whatever I want w/ the touch of my hand but have the comfort of it being a laptop. Not too bulky, great feel on the computer. When my colleagues use my computer they go to theirs and try and use touch the screen but jokes on them since theirs isn’t a touch screen

    Excellent All-Around Windows Machine

Got this as a replacement for a 5 year old machine, so naturally there is a performance difference. That said, I wasn't really expecting much even though I knew it would be better than the old machine. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The machine outperforms in every way. Speedy RAM, PCI-e SSD, sharp (and I do mean SHARP) display with touchscreen, fold-over design, great keyboard and feel when typing plus the addition of the 10-key pad (something I wish my MacBook had), excellent speakers and sound field, thin, light, excellent battery life, no lag at all. Only downside is the buit in camera is a little weak, but far from a deal-breaker. I added a 256GB USB 3.1 thumb drive for media and file storage since the installed 256 is never large enough for on-board storage (imma not all that into cloud storage as, well, in reality it's just storage on someone else's computer). Overall very pleased when I've used it. Wife loves it. I'd highly recommend if you want a better-than-budget performance, but don't need the upscale performance of a work-crushing machine.

EXPECTED SETUP PROBLEMS BASED ON CUSTOMER REVIEWS. NO PROBLEMS, FINISHED IN 45". for my wife, replacing a low-end, low-quality DELL laptop. Sale price remains the cheapest for medium-level specs. DELL Latitude series are my second choice.

The design and quality feels premium, the performance is very good and acceptable for the price, perhaps the best in this range, but the display's color gamut is disappointing.

I reviewed this labtop thoroughly before buying. It does everything as advertised. It’s fast, well built, and the colors are really good for 250 nits. It doesn't heat up fast and the fan is really quiet. It only took 2 days for it to ship.

Great 2 in 1 laptop for the price. The AMD Ryzen 5 is at least as fast as the Intel Core I5 11th gen that I have in my other HP laptop. The backlit keyboard looks great. Excellent sound from the speakers and excellent display

I love the feel of it and how sturdy it is. It’s also very fast. I use it for Zooming and screen sharing during teaching as well as accessing/working in google drive. So far so good. Only thing that I find very annoying is how sensitive the track pad is. I may be typing an email or a word doc and my hand slightly touches it causing the cursor to jump and mess up my typing. It’s even deleted some things. I have time to decide if I need to return it because of an extension. I want to love this laptop but that issue might be a deal breaker if I can’t figure out how to desensitize it somehow.

I use this for work every day and it handles everything I throw at it; projects, papers, research. And when I'm done working for the day I can still game on this computer. I don't do HARDCORE gaming but I do play retro games on my laptop and I have a blast on this nice high resolution screen.

I was concerned with what some of the reviews said but I have not had any issues with my laptop! I love it! The only quirk is sometimes the fingerprint ID to log in doesn’t always work right away. I use it for playing Sims 4!

Quick boot up with fast NVME drive. Great, speedy processor. Graphics look amazing, very responsive, and large touch screen is a great bonus. Just perfect for my needs as a general computing device to carry around and looking forward top trying the convertible to tablet and pen accessory.

I have had this computer for almost 2 weeks but just had an extended time of use today. It is very easy to operate and fast. I purchased it to use in my retirement business and I have been pleasantly surprised. I thought it would take a lot of time to set up but I was wrong. So far, so good.
