My wife bought this on Black Friday when we were in need of an upgrade. This one works great and we've only had minor glitches here and there. For example, the screen switches from landscape to portrait view when you turn it on it's side. Sometimes when you open the laptop, the balance had been thrown off and it will be in portrait orientation when it should be in landscape. We just turn it back and forth until it gets corrected. Also, sometimes when we put it to sleep, it doesn't quite shut down properly. It will still be running as if we didn't close it up and you can hear the fan working overtime when it shouldn't be. So the minor glitches aren't that bad in the big scheme of things. We mainly just use this laptop to surf the web and my wife uses it to write her Master's papers and novels. All in all, this laptop has works great for how we use it.

I have been using this laptop for a little over a year now and it's still running great. It's perfect for work - excel, web applications, zoom/teams calls, word, etc. I plug into a monitor via the hdmi out and it's a great dual monitor work setup. The camera and mic aren't the best, but good enough for work calls. I wouldn't recommend this thing for gaming, but it gets the job done ok at 720p and low settings on most newer games I've tried. It'll run older games just fine It isn't the easiest machine in the world to crack open if you intend to upgrade the RAM or storage, but the fact that you can upgrade those 2 things yourself doesn't warrant subtracting a star. There are youtube tutorials out there with best practices for opening up this laptop. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase

I primarily bought this laptop to do school work on and it has worked fantastically. I love the touchscreen function and it lasts a good while, on battery saver mode it could last you about 5-6 hours. I recommend this to anyone looking for a low-mid end laptop for a reasonable price.

I have purchased 5 of these for business use and we have never had any issues with them over the last 4 years. Download speeds are fast, laptop is light compared to others, camera and microphone are good quality and they are easy to use and customize.

It’s very light and thin, and the width is perfect for a laptop. It’s been very fast and the factory graphics card it’s amazing for being factory. I’ve always been an Intel fan, but this AMD/Ryzen has definitely made me do some thinking. The color is very sleek and modern looking too!

Decent computer for the price. Was in stock so I purchased it. A bit misleading information on the points earned at best buy and my customer account, all set and fixed by a few phone calls. Used the points toward the software purchase.

This HP laptop is just what I needed while I am in master's program. I also love the touch screen. I just bought my oldest daughter one similar to this one and will also get my youngest daughter one like this also

This HP Envy seems to have all I need. I was not familiar with AMD Ryzen but the Best Buy salesman highly recommended it. TI bought this one after returning the HP Pavilion which had a very noisy fan, I am amazed at how infrequently the fan runs on this, compared to how often and loudly the Pavilion ran. All in all, I am satisfied except for one major problem and that is I cannot get my photos from my iphone transferred to the laptop. I am spending a lot of time on this and nothing works. I thought HP was a good choice but now this is the second one that has a major issue. I would recommend it to a friend except if they wanted to transfer photos.

Now with distance learning, all of my classes would be online. So, I found this computer and it has been my most favorite and best purchase of all. I love tablet mode and the lightness of the laptop. Also, I love the speed and the overall look of the computer.

This computer is fast,has great graphics and color and is fairly simple to navigate. Two issues I have is discovering how I can add contacts and how to initiate software updates when they appear in lower RH corner of the screen. Can you help.

Very sturdy and sleek, a little heavier than expected but given the fact the product is 15.6”, you should expect some girth. Bought it at the right time for a great price. Love the touchscreen and backlit keyboard. Very satisfied with my HP purchase.

I love this laptop. It’s touch screen and can flip into a tablet. The i7 processor is fast and makes searching the web, working, and even zoom calls fast, easy and clear. I would definitely recommend to a friend or colleague.

I got this laptop as a gift for my sister because she likes to draw and I figured seen as how it flips backwards it would be convenient, and I was right!, she’s drawn a lot more since I have it to her, also a great laptop for a gamer in the go!

Good for the value! Quick and responsive touch screen and the display is pretty nice too. Sometimes the auto rotate or finger sprint scanner do not work, but that is not too surprising for an HP. For the price, I would say this is a good deal.

HP Envy seems very easy to navigate once your able to get used to the touch screen. It was in very little time that accuracy and the speed for the machine and man interacting became less of an effort and more enjoyable. Also really like the idea of the backlit keys.

I was very happy with the set up. It was quick and easy. In the beginning, the power was not turning on quickly. I finally discovered that the laptop needs to be level for it to properly work. Another issue is that when I turn the laptop on, it says that the camera is also on. I have it set to be off, so this message is not correct. I do like the feature that the camera can be turned on and off, but would like to feel comfortable that is is off. I usually use Microsoft Edge to access internet and it works well. That is not the case for Google Chrome. I can read one email, then I cannot do anything else as it does not respond. I have never had this happen on any of my other computers. Overall it is a good laptop for every day use. The battery lasts a few hours of active use.

This is a sleek, fast computer. I've enjoyed it very much. The first one I bought had something faulty and it died two weeks after I purchased it, but Best Buy associates were amazing to help me get it taken care of and my second computer works great!
