I am currently thinking that this is the worst purchase that I ever made in my life. I bought this laptop as new from Best Buy on July 2, 2019. It is now July 19, 2019 and I have not used this computer for anything useful except to try to get it working correctly. I only installed minimal programs and minimal files until I am confident that it is worth using this computer. Most of my intractable problems are related to Sleep mode and are listed as follows. . . 1. It is very slow to go into sleep mode 2. It comes out of sleep mode for no apparent reason. 3. It intermittently locks up in sleep mode in a way that makes it overheat. When it locks up like this I cannot turn it on unless I hold the power button down for about 5 seconds to power it down and then I have to reboot it. I have been working on this pretty much every spare moment that I have had since I have gotten it. It teases me into thinking that I am making progress and then it starts the same problems all over again. It is now to late to return this "HP - ENVY x360". I thought I could beat this problem, but now I do not think anyone can fix this problem because of the unpredictable intermittent nature of these sleep mode problems. I cannot trust it to go to sleep when it keeps intermittently threatening to overheat itself. Since no one else seems to be having these problems, then I am thinking that maybe I just got a lemon.

I got this computer when it had $150 off of the price and I must say I am so happy I have gone with it. The AMD processes is much faster the the Intel i5 and has 2 more cores and threads then the i5. the extra cores makes it great for the Virtual Machine I need to run for my classes even though I see no need to run 5 at one time. I am contemplating increasing the RAM which shouldn't be hard to do at all, but the 8 GBps is still plenty. The system was incredibly easy to set up and even though I have not had a need for the tablet mode I'm sure it will come in handy.

I love that this laptop is light weight and has fast speed. It’s easy to switch from using the key board to tablet mode and has great volume quality in the speakers!

These PCs are a great value especially with the Affordable Ryzen chips. I ended up returning mine for a Dell XPS but it doesn't mean it's a bad PC, I just went with what suited my needs more.

Has everything I need. Back lite keyboard is nice, never had that before. Works as expected. Wish HP wouldn't set it up to have all sorts of programs launch on startup. Took time to adjust to what I wanted.

My tech guy said I made a great choice with this purchase. He was surprised by the low price I paid and agreed that I got a great deal. I will probably purchase the exact same model/components for another family member.

The laptop had amazing graphic, the sound is good and I’m absolutely in love with the keyboard! Touch screen is great and makes it easy when you want to edit photos or videos :) Best purchase I’ve done!

My computer was doing great, I’ve had it for less than a month and as the geek squad explained; Microsoft has been doing updates that negatively affect the computer. So thanks to the latest update made by Microsoft my computer started crashing, I took it to the geek squad and as they were explaining to me that a solution was to leave it with them for more than 2 weeks so they can find an older version of the update that won’t make my computer crash another lady with the same problem arrived. The computer itself I absolutely love, it’s the fact that I bought it and in less than a month it was crashing because of an update that sucks!

I thought this computer would be better, I have things that I like and things I dislike. I LOVE the touch ID, I LOVE the keyboard, and I really enjoy how it's touch screen. I don't really like the battery life, when I close the computer, and open it again, it takes a little too long to pick it back up (internet screen is blank for a while until it shows the real page), there's not much space available on the hardware computer, I never had this problem before.

Great laptop for the price. touchscreen, backlit keys, numpad are all god options to think about when purchasing. If you ever get used to using them, you will miss them if they are not there.

The HP laptop is one of the best brands in computers. I was looking for something light weight, high functionality and stylish. This fit in all the categories. I highly recommend HP to anybody.

I bought this computer January 8, 2021 and in June the left hinge began failing eventually causing the bottom left corner of the screen casing to split open. I was furious about this because I specifically asked the salesman about the strength of the hinges due to the screen's 180 degree rotating capability. The salesman assured me that he has had this computer for years and never experienced any problems. Because of this I had no confidence in Best Buy so I took this laptop to a local repair shop who dismantled, repaired the broken screen casing and lubricated the hinge. They explained that the lubricant often fails causing the pressure to crack the screen. Just now, Dec 19, barely 11 months since receiving the computer originally from Best Buy, the screen casing cracked open again. Don't buy HP Envy and don't believe anything the associates tell you.

I bought this to replace my last laptop. Nice touch screen. Lit keyboard. Good home keys. Camera and mic work well in Zoom. Very thin and light. The fold over feature works well for reading e books.

I have had numerous computers while I travel but thus HP fits me perfectly. The cámara is excellent on it and it’s very light weight for traveling

Perfect for my work. I have a lot of heavy apps open and it’s never gotten slow if laggy. Love the number of on the keyboard, the touch screen, display size, and how fast it is!

Very pleased with the laptop. I am not computer savvy so it had to be easy to learn. Does everything I need to do and a lot more. Computer is fast as advised by the sales person.

This laptop has all of the features that I wanted: touch screen, backlit keyboard, and 2 in 1. It's way cheaper than a lot of others with the same features and runs smoothly.

Honestly I love this computer! touch screens is crisp and clear, has a shutter for the camera, keyboard is nice and lights up! I just overall am super happy with this purchase!

So this laptop started off great... moved fast, clear webcam, quick response mouse pad etc... The only issue I had was after working hours on the laptop (working from home due to Covid) I noticed the fans would make a loud sound and the laptop would cut off... not reset but cut off until it cooled itself back down. 1st thoughts were get a fan to place under the laptop but the sound of the built in fans were so loud you couldn’t focus on your work. I ended up taking it back and exchanged for a different brand.
