Is a most have for drawing, also photo, sound or video editing, (using a stylus pen). The only downside I have is the battery. My wife leave hers on after using it during the day and never shut it down for days and the battery still have enough charge. Mine only lasted a day with basic use (no heavy programs) and even for less time than her.

Works well! Start up is fast. So far so good. Would defiantly recommend to another person looking for a laptop/tablet

I bought my new laptop about 2 months ago. It was great until about 4 days ago when it started overheating and shutting for no reason. I go a new laptop because my previous one was old and slow. Now I have to deal with this. I am going to have to deal with HP to try and figure out what the problem is. Wasn't planning to have to do this with a new PC.

Does everything i want it to do and more. Its fast and easy to use with nice graphics and great sound.

I purchased this after having two non Envy HP laptops that had an Intel processor which were much faster, but the fan noise was unacceptable and system programs kept locking up. Geek Squad said they could not fix after having each of them for only 3 days. The Envy display goes black once in a while, specifically when getting out of an email. Not sure why...

My household is just my fiancé and I and this laptop has been perfect for our needs. He uses it for online schooling and some light gaming on Steam. I use it for drawing. It has enough memory for me to comfortably run Adobe Illustrator on it. The Ryzen 5 provides a great speed and we haven't experienced any latency with any of the programs we run or when booting it up. We are very happy with our purchase especially at such an affordable price.

I purchased this laptop as a replacement for an OLD HP laptop that needed an internal fan replacement. When I say"old", I mean several, SEVERAL years old. Over the years I had to replace the battery umpteen times but, it never let me down. HOWEVER, I was advised by my salesperson NOT to expect this same longevity with this NEW HP (nor any other brand for that matter)… It seems the newer laptops have a "life expectancy" of about three years. Isn't that GRAND?!
