very good computer, fast and with very good graphics, ideal for work and entertainment

After being routinely advised by knowledgeable friends and colleagues over the years to avoid HP, the store associate explained the differences, the features, and helped us compare our options. Needed a new laptop for my college-bound son and after all of the helpful information we selected this one based on the store associate's information. My son loves it. Fast. Convenient numeric keypad. "Looks cool". Good value. I'd consider one for myself.

The new laptop is very nice. Very clear picture. The only down side was the Geek Squad was supposed to re-cycle our old laptop and obviously didn't, as we got numerous phone calls and texts to make an appointment to pick it up. I finally called them and the woman I spoke to was really rather rude. I explained that they were supposed to re-cycle it and she cut me off.

This item was needed because I began my doctoral work and I love the fact that it’s a touch screen

I was told by the Best Buy sales person that this was one of the best laptops under $1000. I bought this for my child to do e-learning. 15 minutes into Zoom or Microsoft Teams and 1 other window open like Google Classroom, it makes a very loud noise (fan like squeal) and have to shut it down until it cools off. Have also had issues with microphone going in and out. The computer is about a month old. Very disappointed. Best Buy won’t replace bc we didn’t purchase the geek squad protection. Why do you need a service plan for a brand new $900 computer??

This laptop is the best thing i bought so far.most thing i liked was the touch screen.

The laptop is fast and easy to use. Start up time is about 9 seconds. Of course comes with lots of bloatware.

overall, the battery life off the charger is good. perfect computer for basic, everyday usage.

I purchased this HP Envy x360 15” is replacing my State-issued Lenovo Thinkpad laptop. It’s larger and it has a better, touchscreen display. It’s thinner and it has a nicer finish. I went with the AMD Ryzen 5 processor which was less expensive, but seems very fast. I’m no geek and setup was easy and fast! I highly recommend this computer if you’re looking for a great laptop at a very reasonable price!

Fantastic laptop overall for business use with this generation of ryzen please note that Vega 8 and vega 10 are no longer used -Ryzen 5 4500u uses vega 6 graphics meaning only six graphic cores this means that graphic performance is a bit worse BUT cpu performance is almost a 38% increase which makes up for the lack of graphic cores
