This is a repeat of my previous review of the same machine - I bought more than a dozen of them. Really good value, pound for pound. This computer was for home office use after our office went remote. I purchased it and its various twins for our faculty, who were providing online professional development to teachers all summer long. Hundreds of hours of PD later, we're satisfied we got the right computers.

This is a sleek, well designed and visually striking piece of equipment: however the way that HP hardware interacts with Windows software is another story: the entire user experience feels like a clunky beta. "Tablet Mode" doesn't work right, the rotation lock almost never functions, and features that would be unusable in tablet mode are required to be used in order to make the device function. Not acceptable for a product billed as a "2 in 1". Even when using it as a laptop: apps don't function, you can click on a program all day and it won't open - very basic pieces of end user interaction do not function. Microsoft can absolutely design software, and they have had decades to master it: I'd love it if it could interact better with the software. Not a day goes by where I don't feel some disgust with this machine,

Been looking for several years for the right laptop for me, to take when I travel and that I could also use if my PC should give out. After much conferring with Consumer Reports I came up with this one. And after I found it at Best Buy and knowing I had "MY" Geek squad backing me up to set it up the way I wanted, I am feeling much more secure.

Used to own an AMD FX 9800 processor laptop and that was the first AMD laptop I've ever used and it left a sore taste in my mouth so when I went shopping for a new laptop this pique my interest so I bought it checked it up and I never regret the purchase it is a fantastic laptop definitely worth to check out and if you're a student it's a 2 in 1 so it will work great

Even though I'm not very proficient with computers as are many people today, I've learned there are many qualities in this new HP computer that are better than my previous HP computer. The hinges are more durable , the screen flips over to become a tablet , the computer itself is much lighter in weight, and it was about half the price as my first HP computer that I purchased from Best Buy in March 2013.
