This is an alright laptop. It is actually a pretty good value overall except the display quality is not my favorite. I attempted to calibrate the screen, as the max brightness is still dimmer than I would expect. I actually don't really use it much anymore except as a backup machine, and it definitely saved me back in the spring when my main machine failed unexpectedly and needed to go in for repairs. The weight is really light, the screen is large which is nice, the speakers are pretty good for a laptop. I'm sure at this point it can be found much more affordable than when it was first released, but the way tech is going, you can definitely find windows machines that are similar in features at a better price for what it is. The touch screen is really nice though. I miss it on my main computer but not enough to justify the issues with the dim display. I need a bright, accurate screen for my work and this one just didn't do it for me. It is nice that it has a ton of ports, though. And I like the switch to lock the camera from being accessed. Something else kind of odd is that at a certain point, when the top starts to close, the hinge stops controlling it and the top just falls closed. I'm careful with my stuff so it hasn't been an issue, but just something to note, as it does make the quality feel a bit less. The 360 hinge is nice, overall, though. I like the 'tent' display option. Makes it almost like a standalone touch monitor. But yeah, too bad about the display. Maybe won't be as much an issue for others but look elsewhere if your needs include a bright display.

this is my first PC I've ever bought... so the learning curve is a bi t ch but I have to say I love it more than I ever love my MacBook pro.. it's fast its thin its got rest graphics and hardware.. overall I looked at tons of laptops it found this to be the best for the price point. I say buy it you won't be disappointed.. I bought a surface 7 but it was to small. this is kinda way better and easier size to use

I didn't think much of getting a 2-in-1 laptop, I thought about a surface laptop but for the price you can't beat the performance and battery life. I love my hp envy laptop.

Love the slim design and the metallic body. The keyboards are sleek and the display is easy on the eyes.

I have never owned an HP product before this one particularly because I've never liked their designs. Well I love this one and it works great. The keyboard is nice to type on and the screen is nice and bright. It's a great overall thin and light notebook great for school work, work work, and maybe even a little bit of very light gaming. The Ryzen chip line is known for getting a little hot though, and this one starts getting warm even after just playing a bit of solitaire. So if you plan on using it for extended periods of time, make sure it has some good airflow around it...

I looked and looked for months before actually buying a computer. Did a ton of research and a lot of going back and forth. To say I am happy with this purchase would be an understatement. It is sleek, easily accessible at all times, keyboard feels great and the back light is outstanding. I was afraid it was going to feel bulky and heavy, absolutely is not. The "tablet" mode is very interesting, have not explored it much yet but it does set up in the kitchen nicely for recipes and protects the keyboard from having anything spilt on it! All around, very very happy with this purchase.

Honestly One Drive is a pain. Took quite awhile to get picture adding figured out to where it wasn't going to one drive and to let me actually see the photo's. Now one drive is filled. Over all it's a great computer and lets me do what needs done. Setting up the wireless printer to connect to this computer was time consuming and no easy directions. Many days spent trying to get these to things figured out. Was bummed when I realized I had purchased something without a disk drive but I will manage. I love the look and style though.

We got this laptop to replace an old one. It is light weight the picture is very clear. The touch screen is very responsive. It was easy to set up.

Excellent product . I like it because the camera is great and I love using the touchscreen. It’s light weight and I like the option of using Alexa.

I was looking for a laptop for functionality and preferred a touch screen for work and school. This has both. I enjoy the size of the screen and that it can fold into a tablet. I watch movies on my laptops, and listen to music on them (TVs take up too much space and don’t watch enough to buy one), and so far this laptop is great for that. The speakers are nice for my zoom meetings as well. Another thing that makes life easy, is using finger print to login instead of typing in the password (which is still an option for this laptop). I would recommend.

I'm not very tech savey so I expected when I bought this computer it would have some sort of information that came with the computer in the box. But it did not . All it had was web sites which did not have the basics of the operating functions .I assumed the more advanced tech became the easier it would be to operate for anyone .hahahahahaha . I guess the joke is on me . I gave up a 15 year old computer which came with instructions and it explained all the buttons and what the functions were and how to use them to get the most out of the item you just bought. It's like buying a car you want to know everything about it before you spent all that money on it. It just seems like common sense to know about the product before and after you buy it. At least with a car you still get a manual to tell you all the functions that are in the car that your buying , so you can always have something to refer back to . I even have geek squad support but that really doesn't help that much . I'm just disappointed that it's so hard to buy something with tech. that the people selling it knows less about it then you do. There only job is to sell it . All I'm saying is it would be nice to have some information to refer back to that would help the not so tech consumer like me .Their are millions of people like me out there who would buy the technology if it were easier to understand and use . I'm just saying .

Big, bright screen, and very performant laptop for daily school work and occasional gaming. This laptop is perfect for my child's remote learning. Not only the screen is big and bright enough, laptop is also very fast and makes going to various different education sites easy and without delay. On top of that, the touch screen allows writing and submitting assignments that needs to be written in the app easy. This laptop also supports the advanced writing pens through bluetooth, making writing on the screen even easier.

Excellent computer with all the features that I wanted. It is quick to respond, great touch control, clarity, and gives valued information when needed. The lit keyboard is an excellent feature along with getting to all my apps in a timely manner. This is my first brand new computer and definitely a "keeper". I love to play games and it allows me to reach them with no hesitation. My last computer was a Windows 7 and this one is a Windows 10 and believe me they are like night and day. I am absolutely satisfied with the performance and highly recommending it to everyone!

Great computer. (Replacing a 10 year old HP). It’s fast, quiet, portable, flexible. MS Word has some kinks, like I’ll be typing and all of the sudden the letters will jump to some other location in the middle of a word on a different line. Control + Z gets rid of it right away, but it’s very frustrating. Also the internet just goes out when my phone and 10 year old computer are still connected. Very odd. I’m newly teaching online, and this computer does everything I need very efficiently.

I've used this laptop for email, word documents, work & everything else. Love how fast it is, and the back light keyboard is awesome!!!

I am very pleased with this Laptop. The startup speed and fast internet page loading with the unit's solid state drive (SSD) is very refreshing, compared to my previous Toshiba's traditional, mechanical hard drive. I also picked this one for the backlit keyboard and SD card reader. The touch screen is new to me so I haven't used that feature yet, and often accidentally touch the screen and temporarily lose the tab I was working on. I did find that I have to use a multi-USB extender, as there are only two USB slots.

My second HP laptop in a year love it but I dropped the first one. This time I got insurance. Love the touch screen feature light weight easy to carry to school

This laptop works very well. Its suitable for low level gaming and the touch screen is a joy to have. I would highly recommend it.

Originally bought this so my wife can work from home. My older son started making and playing PC games on it and loves the speed. No lag from the graphics card. The computer loads up really fast so there is no long wait to work or play. As for the screen, I dont know. We leave the laptop closed and have 2 monitors connected. One with a DVI to HDMI and the other DVI to Type C. Flawless performance. Best laptop purchase in a long time.
