After having another brand of laptop which had under performed, it was nice to open the box, plug in this laptop and have it ....just work. It is extremely easy to use. Set up was done in the store by Geek Squad so when I started up the computer (which is SUPER QUICK), all my most used applications were there and ready to go. The touch screen works well and most apps even recognize my handwriting. Great product!

This computer has HUGE problems with the audio, mic, and speaker. During Zoom meetings, the computer freezes, while the audio and mic go out, followed by an incredibly loud buzzing noise that only stops when the computer is shut down. We spent countless hours working with both HP technicians and trying fixes that other users recommended, only to have the problem continue (sporadically, which made it even more anxiety-producing, as we were never quite sure when it would happen) with more meetings disrupted. (Please read the other 1 star reviews!) We spent over 2 frustrating months dealing with this, including approximately 7 hours on hold trying to actually talk with live people at Best Buy. Finally, we were given store credit for the return of the computer. To conclude, this seemed like a very good, solid computer apart from this huge defect with Zoom. We were sorry to have had to get rid of it and look for another. If you never plan on using it for Zoom calls, you will likely be happy with this computer.

I originally bought a used HP envy with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor but the screen was cracked so I exchanged it for a new one but they only had the Intel 5 models in stock. I preferred the Ryzen processor but am satisfied with the i5 maybe try to keep all models in stock, especially when you have the Ryzen model displayed but not in stock, otherwise great product.

So far, so good. I was trying to write my masters thesis on an older laptop. It was so bad, I procrastinated and got behind. I bought the Envy on Black Friday and it’s been a lifesaver. The keypad is quiet and needs little pressure to type. Sturdy construction yet sleek. Touchscreen has come in handy. Boots up fast. I might buy a pen next. I’m disappointed that Microsoft suite didn’t come with but no biggie.

This laptop was one I wasn’t originally looking for. I had my eye set on another one. But it wasn’t in stock. Best Buy staff helped me find a new one that fit my needs and was also on sale. It wasn’t in stock but the could order it and it would arrive at my house the next day. Easy. Seamless. Set up was quick. A wonderful daily use laptop for school, work, and extra hobby type enjoyment.
