Booted up and running programs instantly. I got this to replace my 2 year old laptop that was almost unusable to me because after it took nearly 10 minutes to boot up you still couldn’t do much for 30 minutes until the hard drive usage dropped down from 100% usage. But this one makes using my laptop fun again. It’s got all I need and more. Very happy with purchase.

High quality laptop

However it's a little cumbersome at 15.6 to use as a tablet. Beautiful looking machine though, well organized keyboard. One negative is the excessive light bleed around the backlit keys, unless you're looking straight down at it.

Horrible for Students

She has been using it the last 5 months now and is having several problems with it. It keeps freezing on her, she is constantly rebooting and now the camera no longer works. I bought the 1 year Geek Squad protection and they have not been able to help me due to the COVID-19 and now she's stuck with a laptop that doesn't work. And she is still trying to do distant learning...

It is exactly what I was looking forward to. The keyboard is a little different from my old desk top, but I'm getting used to it. I'm late 70's and had Geek Squad copy my favorites from old one onto this new one. They did a good job. Overall I am happy with this purchase. Easy to use, keys light up, what more could you want?
