It's a great laptop. The price was steep; however, I successfully price-challenged it from HP's website. Much thinner than I thought it'd be. :)

My other laptop crashed, and I decided to go with an HP for the new replacement laptop. I have had a good experience with HP’s, and hope that continues with this one.

Very durable and great compliment to the at home schooling we are dealing with. A very fast processor so no more unwanted delays during loading etc. Great laptop!

This computer was bought as a Christmas gift for our daughter. She will be a college freshman next year and needed a good computer. So far, this machine is doing everything she needs it to.

I bought this laptop for my daughter who is soon to enter high school and she absolutely loves it. She’s able to do all her homework, art work and occasional gaming so far it’s a home run.

This is a good basic laptop. We are currently using this for browsing, office and remoting into the office. So far, the user has had no issues with it and no compliants.

TLDR: Overheats and drains battery when not plugged in - started within two months of purchase. I started having issues with this computer two months after my purchase. When not plugged in, it would overheat and completely drain the battery. My husband reached out to HP to attempt to fix the issue and after working with them for a couple hours trying to correct it virtually, ultimately it was sent to HP for work. They stated they fixed the issue and sent it back. The same issue started happening again within another month or two, but we were deep in COVID by that time and dealing with customer service just wouldn't be worth it. I still use the computer, but it remains plugged in at all times and I don't save anything locally. The only time I deem it worth the risk is when I am utilizing programs that are unavailable on my MacBook. Had an HP Envy that lasted me approx. 4 years and was really looking forward to using this product, but the whole customer service process was a disappointment that will likely make me move away from HP in the future.

I had a dated laptop that needed to be replaced. I saw ghis one and it has exceeded my expectations. Does everything that I need in a laptop. Definitely recommend this item.

I've had this laptop for less than a year and it is already having problems. I take very good care of my electronics and have never dropped it or dropped anything on it so this is all manufacturer error. First off the keyboard stops working randomly and the only solution is to use the touch screen or mouse to shut it off and back on. Next, it wont go into sleep mode properly anymore. If I close the lid to put it into sleep, it will not wake up when I open the lid or press any keys. Not even the power button wakes it up! To make things worse it starts heating up very bad. I'n not sure why it starts to overheat when it is supposed to be in sleep mode but it will continue to heat up until you hard reset the laptop. Do you know how annoying and unsafe it is to have a laptop not go to sleep and wake up ? If i close the lid or even put Sleep in the Start menu it will begin to overheat until I hard reset it. To make things worse I have finals coming up so what if the keyboard shuts down and I cant use it? I cant even turn it in to HP to get it fixed because I am going to need it for the upcoming quarter!!! Terrible product I would return if I could.
